This is before cool for the summer was out, and maybe it was before she ditched Luke for not having break a sweat as her lead single.
Now her look is a little bit different.

Damn. And it was posted last week.

She sounds A LOT like Keyshia Cole.
Not really feeling the song.

Sexy Dirty Love is by

LOL, not even a WF or a MXM song, not even a song with her old producers... Jason Evigan, Mitch Allan, Steve Mac. Nothing, this is sad.

Damn, this is such a mess.
She's not doing herself a favor with these rush releases... who A&R's this?

It's almost disgusting...

She is not rush-releasing. I guess she is promoting the album before the release which is next Friday.

She didn't take the time to evolve, it seems like Confident 2.0 without the producers that made good that album. In my opinion, it's a rush.
I'm surprised that no promises and sorry not sorry did so well in the charts.

B Steady

I'll never get over the Hi-Hat in the last chorus of Old Ways, it's way too loud. It's like the loudest part of the mix.

I've been listening the album, I still think the vocals sounds too much like Keyshia Cole 10 years ago.
It's not a bad thing at all, but reminds me a lot of her.

And, the songs are way to different to each other... to me, this is like have no idea about where to go.

In case you don't know who Keyshia Cole is.

Plus: there's a documentary about the album:

Demi is featured in the new single by Luis Fonsi, "Échame La Culpa", which means Blame Me.

The only thing I don't like is Demi singing in english and her awful spanish pronounciation.

No eres tú, no eres tú, soy yo
Es mejor dejarlo así, échame la culpa

I feel like this came out of nowhere, like the concept of Cool for the summer after really don't care, I think Demi's trying too hard, but at least she can get attention seeing the charts.

You better listen to Justice.
Ten years ago.
Justice Timberlake?

Just(ice) kidding, they definitely had an impressive sound for 2007.

My team leader just turned their music on.
First thing I thought of was: This sounds like Ali Payami.
Then I remembered our conversation in this forum about a French production team, however I wasn't sure if it really was Justice.
But now I'm glad I found this conversation again.
We've come full circle. :)
