Youngblood is a new Swedish boyband that will compete in the 2012 Swedish heats for Eurovision Song Contest. Their song, also called "Youngblood", is produced by David Kreuger and writing credits go to Alexander Kronlund, Quiz & Larossy.

Here is a behind-the-scenes video of Youngblood's new single "Blame it on you", produced by A Side productions: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXt-uL7JObY

I really like the song....

Unexpected

I really liked the song, wasn't expecting much from them when I heard about them a while ago, but after hearing their sound I'm excited for them.

Hi,
very interesting, thanks for sharing.

BTW, they always wrote "David Krüger (tm)" and I was not sure if they really meant David Kreuger, thanks for clearing it up!

Do you know the guys by any chance.  :)

Nice to see ASIDE are back. I still wonder where their studio now is located, their former studio has been taken over by Rami and Carl.

The song is really catchy. Great to see some behind the scene stuff.

Nice articles:

The current single is called "Blame it on you" written by Kronlund and QuizLarossi.

Finally a Swedish boyband that could be succesful next to EMD.  :)
And I liked it..

Ha! Great tip and it really sounds so much One Direction that I would it think it's them. Promising debut, I don't know how well British-sounding boy band should work internationally when it comes from Sweden but guys should have qualitative music stuff and not to get lost in Sweden. Sweden seems to like One Direction.

Probably this song is also for Youngblood:

Feelgoodlies

I wanna comment on this but I keep on forgetting! I think it's a really good track actually!

It's nice to see that our Cheiron-ers are focusing on pop boybands again!

Moved this topic to "New songs"  :)

This saturday Youngblood will perform the David Kreuger song "Youngblood" at the Melodifestivalen (Swedish Eurovision preselection)

More information about this heat: http://www.scandipop.co.uk/?p=9025

QuoteYoungblood – 'Youngblood'
(Fredrik Kempe, David Kreuger)

We really can't see how this one could fail in ANY way. Five strapping young chaps (Simon (to the far left) is our favourite!) with a song penned by Fredrik Kempe. Like Ulrik Munther last week, we see this as another guaranteed finalist. And we don't mind so much this time around, because we have high expectations for their song too.

More information here:

Schedule:

Thursday afternoon we will get a 1 min live rehearsal snippet

Saturday 2 pm the full studio version will revealed

Saturday 8 pm Youngblood will perform live

QuoteAnd the song is a typical boy band shit with a rousing chorus à la Eric Saades Manboy. Behind the scenes, the guys backed up by huskörsmedlemmarna Kristian taje and Therese Löf and their körkillen Emil Heiling.
Emil sang lots of background vocals for Cheiron productions.

David Kreuger is in the arena and probably will be on Saturday, so we get to see him when they present the writers ;)
