i don't mine homeless by darin, but for an artist that is having so much money thrown at her, you would think that old jorgen could compose a new masterpiece for her in his sleep, but alas we get another appropriated song!, the kids aren't stupid enough to not know when something has been recorded previously!

I heard a rumour that I Will Be is a cover of the Avril Lavigne track which didn't make her recent album but was a bonus track. It's probably a load of rubbish but wasn't the track supposed to be written by Max??? I could be mistaken, but if so, it could be where his involvement appears on Leona's album. To be fair, I love Avril's 'I Will Be' and would really love to hear Leona's take on it.
According to wikipedia, Max was involved in the album.
Right now I can't imagine the song fits Leona, but with another production it is really possible.

Yeah I agree, I can't really hear Leona singing this but with a big change in the production it could be amazing. Probably just end up being a rumour, but who knows.....

OMG I am so excited to hear the I Will Be is the Avril track. Can't wait to hear how it sounds with Leona singing on it. I love that song so much and think it will be really interesting to hear a completely different style of singer doing a version of it.

So has he done some final touches on it, it's weird, I haven't seen him credited for songs before.

I really love both versions of the song. Avril's is more raw and Leona's is more soulful. I think the song is definitely an Avril song though, but I love the way Leona sings it, especially some of the notes near the end. Leona's album was out today, do we have credits for this song yet? Haven't managed to get to the shop for my copy yet but I can't wait to see what Max's involvement has been. To be fair though I doubt there is much on it as none of the songs sound like Max's typical sound.

Thanks for the credits. Glad to see it was still produced by Dr. Luke, although that could just be becuase they completely nicked the backing track from Avril's version and didn't change it up at all. Be interested to see if the vocal production was by someone different and that Leona never actually worked with the Dr.
Glad Take A Bow is the next single, it's absolutely gorgeous. I bet Ryan Tedder is feeling pretty proud that the two songs he contributed are the first two singles. Rather impressive, I expect will be seeing a lot more of him as a writer/producer soon.

No that's not weird. At first I liked the song but I didn't love it and I never felt like listening to it over and over so I can understand someone not liking it.
