Title: A Jake song for Charlotte
Post by: turnaround on April 22, 2008, 01:00:50 PM
What a nice surprise.
Jake has a song on Charlotte Perelli's new album with the title "Appreciate".

It's a very sweet pop ballad previously recorded by Nicholas Jonas (The Jonas Brothers).

Written by Jake, Savan and James Bourne.

What a song.  :-*

I have to agree with Tiiger. It's my favourite song of the album right now.
But the album is full of glorious songs.

I was just saying that I love that James Bourne's name is in the writing credits for this album--my love for Busted and British pop-rock groups collides with my love for Swedish schlager and disco-pop singers! :D  Plus we get lovely Anna Nordell and Jeanette Olsson on backing vocals on some of the songs (as well as Nana Hedin)!

After listening whole album I agree, Appereciate is more than okayish song, not my favourite on this album, but it really got me to goosebumps. I think this is exactly song with Nana's vocals and I hear Anna Nordell in Slowly. Actually I really love 8 from 11 tracks()! Album is sooooooooo great, this one and Sanna's album are kind of masterpieces.
PG, could you please write credits for tracks or just backing vocals if you have this info?

I hear Anna's voice so clearly on "Slowly" it's bringing the song on another level.

Oh, agree. I love her works on backing vocals. By the way I was really surprised she was singing "Hero" as back vocalist on Melodifestivalen (behind the stage) and actually sings some demos for MF-artists.
Sent a message to her Myspace, but she didn't answer, my heart is broken, lol, but I'm still her fan! :)

Oh don't worry, she will answer, no doubt.
She's really friendly and lovely  ;)

Btw. Do you know a site to listen to MF demos she sang?

All available demos are in Eurovision room in Soulseek (I found there brilliant demos of Carola's "Invincible" and Shirley Clamp's "Att Alska Dig" sung by Sonja Alden), but I never found Anna's demos :(

Thanks PG, I'm delighted to see these familiar names (Emilia, Tommy for example).
And nice to see they were at A-Side's studio.

The BV credits are stunning. Only the best of the best. Jeanette takes 1000 $, I read (per song).
And to have Anna's voice on your background is priceless, plus it sounds incredibly good in combination with Charlotte's.

PG, I love you!!! Thanks sooooooooo much!!!!!
Team behind this album is incredible!!! Didn't expect Anna to appear on this album even more than on E-Type's one. Actually all three back vocalists - Anna, Nana and Jeanette are mostly known for their work with E-Type before.
Team behind "Not Alone" - guys who worked on "Je T'adore" (my favourite song of EV-2006). I guess it supposed to be option for Perrelli's song for MF as it's 3 minutes long and I think this song would have chances to win not less than Hero.
Surprised to see Savan! By the way in 3 days finally "Appreciate" became one of my favourites, Nana's vocal can do magic.
As well I'm surprised to see Emilia.
Team behind Addicted is the team behind loads of some really cool MF-hits (Om Natten, Las Vegas, Alcastar, Kalla nätter, Hur svårt kan det va?)
Already few days I'm replaying only Charlotte's and Sanna's albums again and again, what a great works!!!)))

Just somebody here recently said something like this and I missed it...

She regularly seems to sing vocals there, what I just found out recently, that she sang the backing vocals together with Max on the three Celine Song's on "One heart".

Yes, that's why I asked - because I saw her in credits of that album as back vocalist with Max :)
