Still love the track.

There is also a interview.

Really would like to know how much input she had on all those songs. It's always like "her hits".

She's mainly the lyricist on all the songs she's been credited on, but she's a pretty good songwriter overall.

Bonnie singing all the songs shes co-written (mostly with Max or Dr. Luke)

"I was writing with Max Martin and Johan Shellback who are two of my absolute songwriting heroes, they are just absolute melodic geniuses." - Taylor Alison Swift,  August 2012

I think this can be compared to Becky G feat. Cher Lloyd - Oath, they could be taken as the 10s Pop manifesto as they are actually Pop hit prototypes of our time but they just don't cut through. They're not copies in terms of music because here you got the original lyricist and in Oath you got Dr. Luke and Cirkut who are top class producers but something's missing anyway. It all really is about producing the perfect Pop track. Art is not perfect and after all the public is only attracted by art, they have to feel the passion in it... this is music for producers, I love it because I can study and see all the production techniques that those producers use more often, there's no risk in this production, nothing new, it's only damn working good but the public doesn't care about that. And that's where everything falls, this is music made with formulas, only formulas, without any artistic journey, that's the result, people just ignore it.

Anyway, I love it... 8)

Bonnie talks about her story. It's quite interesting. She talks about the way she writes.
And talks about Dr Luke and Max.

"They are able to mass-produce art, but it still has heart"

She really seems to live the the american dream, the rags to riches story.  8)
And I liked it..

So great, thanks!!  Love the part about "science" and "Warholian" and also her "tweaking" side, and her 10 year Christmas song project "I swear it's gonna be a masterpiece"....so funny :D

I kindda like it, but it sounds too much like a Ke$ha or Katy song. I guess is like an stigmata for all of her solo songs to be compared to what she's written before.

Axel

I love it. She clearly knows her stuff. She'd totally deserve success as an aritist and not "just" as a songwriter. But I have my doubts if she'll take off completely.

Jules

I love the song but I think she is a horrible performer!  :-\

The song is fine as long as I don't watch her sing it. lol

Agreed, it's pretty awful, including that band "interplay" :-O     But I love the song too, especially the bass part -- it's perfect....it goes up into the higher octave on a couple of notes at exactly the right spots.....gives it so much emotional impact.....
