Wassup guys

What a perfect forum this is... Big big big THANK YOU to the creators.... :D

There's a very popular Cheiron sound (percussion?) that I've been after for YEARS. Kristian Lundin used (and continues using) it the most I think. But you can hear it on other tracks by the other producers too.

My attempt at describing it: it kinda sounds like a 10-pin bowling ball hitting one of the pins (LOL) and they'd normally stick it in before a Chorus.

Here are some examples of where you can hear it:

BSB - I Want It That Way when Nick Carter's says: But we [are two worlds apart]...

Jessica Folker - To Be Able To Love around 9 seconds into the song, right before the drum-beat kicks in, also heard right before she starts the 2nd verse: I can give you no guarantee...

Celine Dion - That's The Way It Is right before she starts the first verse: I can read your mind...

Another version of it on Westlife - My Love just before Brian McFadden starts the 2nd verse: I try to read, I go to work...

Eternally grateful to the one who knows what it's called! And God bless whoever manufactures it coz I'm gonna buy 20 copies of the module! :P

Ahhh, I LOVE that sound too...! but no its not the one  :-[ :-[

it's more like an airy (lots of reverb) percussive sound. try these links. i've set them pretty much just before those sounds:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPFSaFRYtSk#t=1m37s (think that's just a lower pitched version of it)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9tFM4OPlzg#t=1m25s (2 of them there, with some tom-toms it seems)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9tFM4OPlzg#t=0m57s (soft one there...)

i hope this isn't one of their own programmed ones...it often sounds like they have a few sounds blended into one.

thanks guys!

I've got a feeling it's called Vektogram. But i can't seem to find any samples of it to confirm... ;/

Wow man, you're good. ;/ guess I should've splashed my hard-earned bucks on a trinity rather than my G8 :P
Noise-shot... Love their names! (b-hooks)
I played it to my synth teacher back in the day and he guessed it was a pitch-shifted Clave with lots of reverb.  ;D haha

Feelgoodlies

I made a video like that where I mentioned this sound here

Rebecca

your video is great Feelgoodlies, it's good to hear the well-known sounds all together. I love the music box sound.
