Im not sure if this is a matter of production or mixing...
But im wondering how modern producers can create big sounding mixes but meanwhile keep them very soft and easy sounding...
Compared to songs from 2008-2013 new tracks tend to be way softer..
Is it ambience, soft sounds, transient shapers etc?
