Does Max Martin write to a track (as a topliner)?

Could you pls help me with this question?

I read that one of the most popular way in 'modern songwriting' is writing to a track as a topliner. I'm only talking about writing a melody here - not about lyrics. So you have a backing track ready first, and then will try to write a melody to fit that track.

Does Max Martin ever use this method?

Thank you
