Lol, that high note in the post chorus doesn't sound acoustic at all.

If it wasn't for the acoustic version I wouldn't know the high pitched voice in the post chorus was the word "lie". I love when artists do their own spin to their songs, sounds like a decision made by the team instead of Sam in my opinion.

I think what sounds on the post chorus isn't a word. It's just a vocal chop that keeps the aesthetic of the production.
