Kobalt is one of the biggest music publishers in the world, they must be managing the Maratone catalogue but it's just a business thing.

Kobalt is primarily doing all the royalty-collecting for Max. With his songs appearing globally, someone's gotta track where his songs pop up. As much as I know Kobalt is handling this side of the business for Max.
