Cheiron 2014 / http://www.cheironmusicgroup.com
« on: November 01, 2014, 06:56:33 PM »
Hello everybody.

I am a first time poster here  ;) I was googling Cheiron whch was how I found you guys but also I found this: http://www.cheironmusicgroup.com
do you know anything about this?

Is this anything to do with the original Cheiron guys- the site says it is but they have not named any names which I find a bit odd...?

There is a lot of mention of Denniz Pop (RIP) on the site so I hope it is legal and all in order (not taking advantage of his memory) they also have some of the old hits embedded??

It will be good to hear from all of u
David

I just quickly read this on my phone, but what I read PISSES ME OFF SO BAD!!!!!

Who the fuck does this guy think he is??!
Buying the brand name and thinking he (they) could be neeeaaarly as good as CHEIRON was? OMG this really really pisses me off.

They ruin the legacy!

Welcome and thanks for the link!

I have always wanted to properly, productively, & respectfully bring Cheiron back in a commercial capacity which would honor its brilliant creator, the late Denniz PoP.

I doubt it.....
And I liked it..

I Don't tink he bought the brand name. Given swedish trademark law is somewhat loose I bet he realised that "Cheiron" was probably never a registered trademark in the U.S therefore he saw an opportunity to launch a "copy" of the original. That said, I am quite sure this "Pasquin" guy will be sued within a near future. I also find this appalling and I hope he'll have to shut down soon.

Welcome David and thanks for sharing this with us

It is unbelievable that this guy thinks he can pretend he's the new Cheiron. It is actually a nice site with the music embedded. However it is outrageous he can say the ledgendary pop music entity officially returns. He should be shut down.

Btw - Anthony Gargiula - Barricade was released:

Anthony's soulful vocals & "catchy" musical style are a unique blend of current & late-1990's pop music. He officially signed with the iconic Cheiron Records in November 2014, and his debut single, "Barricade", was commercially released worldwide by Cheiron Records.

I'm from London and recently found these guys too when researching some Cheiron classics. I see that this Anthony Gargiula is quite the big deal over in America (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sR2rvxSUr7w) and was on the Ellen show a few years back. I also read that the CEO of this Cheiron Music Group is directly tied to BSB, Nsync, and Britney, so I'd have to imagine the company is lawfully legit. I'm curious to hear what type of pop music they will be putting out and will withhold any judgement (good or bad) for now. I say maybe this Yankee bloke and his company might actually do something good and make a go of it with this new Cheiron. Max Martin and friends sure aren't living up to the classic Cheiron brand with that Taylor Swift and Katy Perry trash over in America right now. I do like the new company's website and this Gargiula kid sounds talented. We'll see (or hear) I suppose.

this is not the place to call taylor swift and katy perry trash. If max and co were still making that classic cheiron sound it wouldnt be classic, itd be current and he probably wouldnt have the same level of success he does now. Part of a long lasting career in music is changing your sound over time
