I'm not sure if anyone else feels like I do, but she should have worked with Max or other associated producers long ago. I know it's not Max (Benny and Shellback is close enough), but I feel like her bridge in "Moves Like Jagger" ("You wanna know how to make me smile ...) is the best lines in her whole whole career. Hearing her voice over a Maratone-produced song was amazing!
I absolutely agree, she absolutely killed it in Moves like Jagger.
I still can't believe the song only consists of two chords. Makes me pound my head against a metal wall.
Proves again that simplicity is all you need. And that this is really hard to pull off in a great way.
Guys this has been circulating since January. I even read the rumored title of the track which is something like "Love My Body" or "Your Body".... I don't know something along the lines. But I wanted to wait for an official source.
I'm sure Max worked comfortably with Christina since you know she is a great vocalist.

I've heard this days ago. Actually there's something missing in the song, I don't know, the verses are not that catchy, the chorus is good and you can tell it's Max's chorus.
I wish that the finished version is better cause it needs some editing and mastering!

I was thinking, the best thing about this song (aside from it being insanely catchy) is that it suits Christina perfectly. You know as soon as she starts singing the first verse, it just feels right and it's been written only for her. No "Femme Fatale" leftovers. It amazes me how well they've captured her style, knowing they haven't really directly worked with her before. But at the same time they've managed to write such a strong track that will most likely be one of her biggest hits. So good!

I was immensely underwhelmed when I listened to it yesterday...but I couldn't give it my full attention so I'll have to relisten and see if it grows on me. I was hoping she'd go in a little different direction compared to what others are already doing and I failed to spot that. But like I said, I have to check it out again in peace and quiet and see if it changes anything. I'll let you know. :)
It's grown on me a lot, but I did quite like it on first listen as well. It feels fresh to me me just because it's more RnB than the overkilled dance pop on the charts (a la Nicki Minaj style). It's not a song that's overly special to me, and I'm not a Christina follower or anything, but I find myself wanting to listen to it over and over.

I can't believe "Your Body" is flopping! What's going on? Apparently it's getting next to no promotion, so maybe it's early days yet. But it's currently sitting at 62 on Billboard. :-\ Some people are even treating it as another "Not Myself Tonight", saying it was a poor first single choice. Crazy.
I told you I was underwhelmed of the song. ;-) And I still don't like it much.
