Is this the Lighthouse studio? I know it is located at a lake and has lots of cool features. (garden, sauna etc.)

It's not the SUPER hit I expected, judging from first listening, but I feel this is a big grower.
Quote"I am incredibly excited to have joined Capitol Records, and being back in the studio in London and Nashville recording new songs has been amazing. Working on solo material is something I had always dreamed of doing, and I'm incredibly happy with the results. 'Everything to Me' is a very personal song to me lyrically; it is such an upbeat and optimistic record, perfect for the summer. I can't wait for people to hear it!"
No Jörgen on the EP:
Everything To Me Shane Filan, Nick Atkinson & Tom Wilding
Everytime Shane Filan, James Bauer-Mein & David Sneddon
Once Shane Filan & Kylie Sackley
Today's Not Yesterday Shane Filan, James Bauer-Mein & David Sneddon
I get that he's gone for the acoustic indie vibe, but that single doesn't do anything for me (pun intended). Looking forward to his Jörgen tracks though, as long as the brief hasn't limited him to this sort of thing. I guess they don't want it to sound like a solo Westlife record.
I guess it was hard to find a direction for him. Westlife were famous for covers (!), Steve Mac power-ballads and Swedish mid-tempo songs.
Nothing would probably work these days, so I guess going a Jason Mraz-ish maybe even country-direction could appeal to his now also matured Westlife-fanbase.
But I still hope for the big Jörgen ballad.

But I still hope for the big Jörgen ballad.
Same! I wasn't a die hard fan but I did quite like Westlife. Funnily enough, without even knowing it at the time, all the Westlife singles I ever bought were all Jörgen's.

Single did not enter the Top 10.
Next single has been announced "About you"
Don't think it's a Jörgen song.
But some Jörgen songs have been registered at ASCAP:
YOUR ORDINARY MAN
ELOFSSON JORGEN KJELL STIM 226071889
FILAN SHANE IMRO 268464236
NO ONE S IN CONTROL

Sounds like the band Train - but I quite like it. More Westlife than the debut single.
Co-Written by Steve Mac and Wayne Hector (the guys behind countless Westlife songs and more)

Do you think it's better than "Everything to me"?
Songs from Ascap are not on the album.

But maybe they wrote some other songs or they will be B-Sides.
Gotta say smth cuz' Martin's monologue 'bout Filan need to be stopped :) :)
I continue my monologue:

I way prefer "About You". I agree it is like Train, but "Everything to Me" is too much like Jason Mraz
I don't think Shane will have much success unfortunately. It is just too hard for boy band members to go solo, and this music is too safe.
He really needs to include the Jorgen songs!
Yeah, "About You" is so much better, but the "Drops Of Jupiter" hook is a bit close for comfort. Will we ever get to hear his work with Jörgen?
I've been listening to the album and I'm bored as hell.
I'm impressed by the collaborators, but the songs didn't do anything to me and his voice is like, anything could have sung this.
Proper credit to him to co-write the songs, but I don't like the album at all.
Cover album with 3 new songs is now up to pre-order.

Very weird.
The album itself is really good. Metrophonice are really talented. (Paul Berry)
Shane re-recorded a 2007 demo originally intended for Westlife called Beautiful in White
