Taylor Swift – "22" (Max, Shellback) New
Such an amazing song,
love everything about this song. The production and songwriting is sooo GOOD!

i love it
Me too, it's my favourite Max song for Taylor, so catchy. I couldn't work out why she'd want to sing about being 22, but it all makes sense now. :)
Just bought the Deluxe Edition of Red from Target. Will update the credits if for you if I can when I get home! ;D :D :)
Cool, how many bonus-tracks does it have.
bought the deluxe version on i tunes... i really like her new sound and album.
It sounds ok, "I Knew You Were Trouble" is definitely the best track out of all 3.

Agree.
mhmh, i think "22" has way more hit potential and better songwriting
than "knew you were trouble"...
Can't decide what is my favourite country song by Max.
One of the Taylor songs or Carrie Underwoods "Quitter"
I'm not a country fan, but I'm a HUGE Taylor fan, so imagine how happy I was when I heard Max and Taylor were working together :D The album is simply amazing. Aside from the three MXM songs, "Red" and "State of Grace" are pretty awesome.
That said, I don't think any of the three Max songs are really country, so I'd still say Quitter is Max's best country song (and one of my favorite Max songs -- it's terribly underrated!)
i found this video. she talks about all songs and max martin

Really cool video, thanks! I can't believe how excited I get hearing people talk about their experience with Max.

I'm sure that you know that Taylors songs are not really country anymore but Pop. With entering more into the Pop genre she will have the same sound like the huge pool of other pop artists. Don't get me wrong. I like the pop songs but she needs to be careful not to loose what she became famous for.
its been some months since this song got released and i first heard it.. but i still love it, its awsome i never get tired of it
Well apparently this is rather old news now, but "22" is officially slated to be the fourth single. I'm not sure how it will do, I love it, but I'm nervous people will get sick of her pop side too quickly. Fingers crossed though. Awesome that she's now released all of her Max/Shellback collaborations, this one is my favourite of the three.

I was so excited when I heard her say their names! It was a cool performance of "22" too, with another Cheiron style breakdown again.
Yeah, I agree, I was so excited that she thanked Max and Shellback first! I loved the performance too - just perfect.
she should be grateful for working with max
i believe he put her in the right place, now she won 8 awards at billboard..
but i believe that she needs to stay away from 100 % country. just go pop as she did in IKYWT and 22.. that is max production.
and these are the songs that stand out from the rest, i heard her whole album and yes there is some good songs there, but I can hear when its a MM production..
her collaboration with rapper bob written by DR LUKE both of us didnt make as much impact as the songs max wrote.
if max martin only could tell his secrets :)
I think if she just keeps mixing things up it will still work for her, as long as the writing is strong (and even on her own she is a great writer). Crossing over from country to pop seems to be a dangerous business, often starting with a massive breakthrough, followed by a lackluster career from then on. She has more chance of longevity if she doesn't go completely pop too, country acts can successfully stay on top for a long time, pop acts have a shorter shelf life.
