Basically an EDM song.
Ryan Tedder is one of the best writers in pop world. I can't wait for the album.
Songwriter Ryan Tedder reveals the formula for creating a timeless pop hit
Lessons from Adele, Justin Bieber and Zayn on having a hit
I love "Kids" so much!
I love "Kids" so much! I haven't always been a huge fan until this song. except for "Counting Stars".

Catchy new song:

He revealed Max wrote the bridge and post chorus of Love Somebody
I like the song, but it may hurt Paul's reputation since it is so plastic pop.
Not that Paul doesn't know about that... But 2010s pop it's not the same as 1960s pop, and Paul wasn't interested until now on moving into something modern.
Apparently it's the only song he did with Tedder, the others are produced by Greg Kurstin.
This boy in the second video does indie-girl vocal (https://www.acelinguist.com/2018/10/dialect-dissection-indie-girl-voice.html), hate it.
Smyeelle.
did anyone else know there's two different ryan tedders lmao? there's also one that's written for ariana, jaira burns, meghan trainor, jlo .. this whole time i thought it was the one from onerepublic haha
He did the new 5SOS Song.

What a brilliant song, incredible chorus melody.
In the meantime they released a remix featuring Charlie's vocals. I definitely prefer the remix, Charlie's voice adds something special:
I just realised how similar the "Didn't I" chorus is to the "Chances" (Backstreet Boys) verses :)
Ryan & Zach produced both. Chances is a leftover from the Shawn Mendes album.
Thank you Captain Obvious.
It would've been at least a bit more meaningful if you would've pointed out that they both co-wrote both songs.

This is pretty great! Love the vocal sound and production as well as the key change!

This is one of Serban's best mixes in a long time. The song sounds massive!
I agree, I don't see it being a big hit, but I would love it if it was!

That's what I thought too, but it's registered on GMR under Ryan from OneRepublic.
Also, they've recently worked on BLACKPINK & Ariana stuff together. It can get so confusing with them both working with Tommy Brown, though 🤦. I find that the other Ryan Tedder's stuff is usually credited as Ryan "Ryghteous" Tedder.
But I sort of feel like the record as a whole is very trend-hopping, quick-hit-chasing, and generic.

Does the new Lil Nas X song sample OutKast’s Hey Yeah?

Mm I can't hear Mattman and Robin here.
What's that stupid effect Tedder has on his vocals that makes him sound like he's using some poor man's Auto-Tune (Worst Effect Of All Time, Why People Still Use It In 2022 IDK)
I can't hear any guitars or any signs of a real band at all!
GET A MIXER OTHER SERBAN GHENEA!! HE CAN'T MIX ROCK BANDS WORTH FOR SHIT!!!
