Thank you Captain Obvious.
It would've been at least a bit more meaningful if you would've pointed out that they both co-wrote both songs.

You're welcome, smarta** :)

This is pretty great! Love the vocal sound and production as well as the key change!

I like it !

I'm surprised that Jessie J is still rocking, I love the song, but I have serious doubts if it will chart anywhere at all.

j.fco.morales

She has the same problem that Tori Kelly: amazing vocals, technically impeccable but the songs? Meh.

Just gave it a first listen. Guitars give me a major ,,Eye of the tiger" vibe which is ok I guess. The whole song sounds like 70's disco-era which I think kids won't enjoy much these days. Jessie J's vocal are incredible as usual but the whole thing is bound to be a flop in my book

This is one of Serban's best mixes in a long time. The song sounds massive!

I agree, I don't see it being a big hit, but I would love it if it was!

Anf you're damn right. The mixing is phenomenal indeed. I think it sounds balanced without the typical bright high end of current billboard songs because it is supposed to sound like a classic record from the 70's. Think Studer tape machines and lots of warmth.

I'm pretty sure this is the other Ryan Tedder, he usually works with Mr Franks and Tommy Brown

Great melody, whoo! Giving me Ester Dean vibes with the repeated syllables

That's what I thought too, but it's registered on GMR under Ryan from OneRepublic.

Also, they've recently worked on BLACKPINK & Ariana stuff together. It can get so confusing with them both working with Tommy Brown, though 🤦. I find that the other Ryan Tedder's stuff is usually credited as Ryan "Ryghteous" Tedder.

You're right, he also posted about this song on his stories.

Maybe it's time for Ryan Tedder to collaborate with Ryan Tedder 😂

Ryan Reacts: Songs From His 30-Day Songwriting Class

Ryan released a 30 day songwriting class and reacted to some of the students songs.
He's cool.

I didn't know Ryan used Ableton Live. Good to know.

Great melodies as always. Rescue Me is by far my fave.

Distance and Forgot About You could be Maroon 5.

melodicmoonlight

Distance is a jam. Could hear Adam Levine on vocals for sure, and even Adam Lambert would be cool. The album is pretty solid. Some melodies/production melt together but Ryan's so good at delivering a strong pop vocal.
