The debut single from last year's fourth place finisher on American Idol is written by Max (and possibly other people, but I don't know who)--it's got some of the buzziness of Max/Luke work like "Hot 'n Cold" or "My Life Would Suck Without You" but it's a bit more pop-rock/less happy...still really poppy, though.

The album sounds pretty good, though pretty standard pop/rock stuff. I like D is for Dangerous and Beat Me Up best, after the Max songs. She sounds so much like Pink.

The judges never really appreciated her when she was on American Idol, in terms of singing or personality, which drove me crazy! I'm glad she's got some great songs on this album, but I really wish it was selling better :-\
