Linda Sundblads new single in sweden "2 all my girls" written by Max Martin/Alexander Kronlund and Linda Sundblad..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KluBacnrUfM
The electro sounds, lead line, beat and bass is nice in the verses but the hookline is weak and is getting washed out by the cymbals, I think it's cymbals? Unfortunately the singer doesn't have a voice.
Actually, Linda has a perfect pop voice, 2 All My Girls just doesn't show it off very well.
I like the song , It has the max vibe.
I love it! Linda's great.
gosh, we never heard the rumours for this, so it's a nice surprise.
Good song but not so great....I prefer TIK TOK by Kesha.....the best song of 2009!!
Yeah the verses are quite good but I find the chorus is just not strong enough as in you can hear it coming and it doesn't strike out enough I feel. I'm not sure what was meant by a 'perfect pop voice' that's a very big label to put on someone's voice and when I think of a 'perfect pop voice' I think Michael Jackson or Celine Dion and this artist's voice is nowhere in the same league as that, I'm sure everyone would agree. To her credit she appears to be quite poppy but for this song that's about it from me.
tik tok no way its the best song of 2009.. we got some realeses later this year, with carrie underwood, leona lewis, bigger with bsb and many many more..I think the best song this year will be Andreas carlssons book live to win :) crazy 1 october i will buy it.... "The songs that wrote my life"
Yeah I heard that Andreas was writing a book and I really like the name ' Live To Win'. So is the official release date october 1st worldwide or just in Sweden? It'd probably be on Amazon so shouldn't make a difference I hope not. I hope he gives his time at cheiron a good few chapters otherwise that could be disappointing, I'd really like to read how he underwent projects with kristian in the studio writing those hits! That would be amazing to read. But I gotta say the book I've been waiting for all my life is 'Kristian Lundin: How I Made Those Beats ' I pray one day he writes that book!
This is something "La Roux" "a new British singer/group?" would do imo.
I liked the song, it's really catchy, but it is not that perfect.

Linda doesn't have a big voice, but to me a 'perfect pop voice' doesn't need to be big. Instead it needs to sound great on a pop song, and tracks such as Oh Father and Cheat from Linda's last album prove that she does. She's like a Swedish Britney or Kylie, but with a bit more quirky individuality.
This book by Andreas, will it be in English? I would expect it to be in Swedish, since there would surely be much more demand for it in Sweden than anywhere else. He's quite well known there now, even with people who don't know much about music, thanks to his role on Idol.
Michael Jackson or Celine Dion's voice are not just big but there are many vocal elements that make there voices stand out a lot from others. Things such as vocal tone, pitch, harmony, character/accent and range. A big or small voice whatever you prefer would not be good without having all the required vocal elements to make it good. Technically if we compared Linda's vocal elements to that of Michael Jackson or Celine Dion she would score less in every aspect, based on what I heard on the link.
If Andreas wants to market his book in America, Canada, Australia and the UK which are all very big markets of course there needs to be an English version. Besides he spends a lot of his time in L.A. so I'm sure he has publishing deals for it down there. The funny thing is there's probably more swedish people living in America than there are in Sweden.
i will buy the book at saturday in gothenburg when andreas are here to sign it, so finally i will meet him =)
oh Nicky, that is so exciting that you can get the book signed!! maybe you'll also be able to get a photo with him?
hopefully this book is in English too
Nicky do me a favour. When you meet Andreas could you ask him if he got the Demo CD I sent him. It's called 'Riley Koba: Waiting In The Dark'. Thanks buddy I appreciate it. Anything you need from me just ask.
Don't worry Rebecca there will of course be an English version. After all, Andreas's hit songs were all in English weren't they.
I don't think his songs being in English means that the book will be. Andreas isn't famous in English-speaking countries, so the only people who would buy it (except for us few fans of Swedish songwriters) would be people who were looking to become a pop songwriter, and chances are they'd rather get tips from better-known songwriters than Andreas.
Andreas believe it or not is an internationally acclaimed songwriter and his songs are recognised the world over not just in Sweden. The fact that his major hits are all in English shows that he is truly a global songwriter and it only makes sense that a global songwriter realeases a book to be published internationally for readers worldwide. Furthermore it makes greater business sense for Andreas's book to have an English version given there is a huge english speaking market i.e. America, UK, Australia and Canada and possibly many many fans in these countries. Besides the title is in English 'Live To Win' my darling. Yes musicians like myself would be interested in his knowledge of the Pop business but I have been following his work from the 90's so that's just one reason but definately not the main one and most likely not the main one for many other musicians who are fans of Andreas. Also if someone asked me who would I rather get advice from Elvis or Andreas I would say Andreas because his music has played much more an influence in my life than what the majority would consider as the top or best artists and songwriters even if they are better known. Perhaps we could change the subject now my darling ;)
Just quickly, I'm having doubts Andreas's book will be in English, there's no mention on his site it will be in English and I can't find it on Amazon. I suppose it will depend on how sales go in Sweden and be up to the publisher if they want to print it in English. Let's hope so.
I'm sure Andreas would like to release his book all around the world, but it's just a case of whether there is a market for it. I can't imagine any major publisher would pick it up in any country where he isn't well known. He could go with a small publisher but is it worth translating the book into English for a very small number of readers? I'm only being realistic. Anyway, we shall just have to wait and see. I'd love to be proven wrong as I'm sure it will be a very interesting book.
Andreas was really nice :) a read 80 pages first day and it is an amazing book.. did anyone know that it was herbie that gave martin sandberg his name max martin, and that it was David krueger that told denniz pop anbout andreas,
The song is great but I didn't understand Max' contribution, production? Or he is author?
The song is nice, but it didn't hit me at first. Hope it will grow on me.
I don't like it....Worst max's song of 2009.
It's a good song!

I'm so glad you're enjoying the book, I didn't know that David Krueger introduced Andreas. I'm sure there are many interesting facts. Did you talk to Andreas? what did you say? what did he say?
I still think this is a fantastic song despite it's terrible production (hate the 80s sound) but the chorus is awesome !!! very max-ish and sounds a lot like Pink or Kelly...I wish it were pop/rock...
I would also like to say that the singer is really horrible, she can't sing. She reminds me of Robin!

I love Robyn, so that's definitely a good thing for me! It always surprises me that people don't seem to like Robyn around here. I see her as one of today's most brilliant popstars.
clip new single of linda , it's amazing , very catchy :

I dont know who wrote it
Thanks it's a good song.
I noticed on ASCAP that there is a Max/Linda song "Making Out" which I don't think has been released:
MAKING OUT (Title Code: 880445334)
Writers:
SANDBERG MARTIN KARL
SUNDBLAD LINDA CAROLINE
Performers:(none found)
maybe it's in the new album .
Isn't it called "Let's Dance" which I believe is exclusively recorded for that famous "show"?!

I liked it very much!
I am so looking forward to her album. This sounds very Max, I really liked it, it is kinda If U Seek Amy in an electro way more like a Dr.Luke way!
OMG I just learned that "Let's Dance" is produced by the Epicentre! :o I knew it's amazing!

wowwww , then it's the because the song is amazing.
Yes the same that did If im not the one with N´Sync , Fredrik Thomander/ Anders Wikstrom
Here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHIpspEwhns), you can watch a live performance of "Let's Dance". It's not special at all!
Btw why is she so old-fashioned in the way she looks and wears?! She is stuck in the 80's.
wow , i cant believe how the song is so great everytime i listen it , i like the 80's look ;D
wow, so many good songs just come back to the same small group of songwriters.
I love the song!
Yes Reb, I believe this could give the Epicentre their ticket to be known worldwide.
Just a question: are you sure Epicentre produced it? I know it's written by just Johan Bobäck and one of the two members of Epicentre, Fredrik Thomander (Warner Chappell confirms (http://www.warnerchappell.se) that). Johan wrote (http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=141135075&blogId=523402029) that the song was produced by him (Johan's nickname is Kermit) and Fredrik, so I was thinking it was maybe something that Fredrik did outside the Epicentre name, without Anders Wikström. Sorry, that's kind of nitpicky, I know, but I'm curious.
Anyway, great news: that Max/Linda song you found, Rebecca, "Making Out," is definitely going to be on Linda's new album! There's also at least one song written by Linda and Alexander Kronlund, "Feel So Good," which is a bonus track.
I'm not sure about the epicentre question, but that's wonderful news that "Making Out" will be on Linda's new album! it's something to look forward to. Even though we've just had lots of new Max releases over the last few months, I'm quite desperate for more!

Yes, I emailed him asking him about the new stuff he did/will do, and he told me "I did" the new tune from "Linda Sundblad" called "Let's Dance".
Linda's new album "Manifesto" has been released:
http://www.ginza.se/Product/Product.aspx?Identifier=251218
It has the Max Martin song "Making Out", but I haven't heard it.
Expressen.se say this about Linda's album:
It sounds as if Linda Sundblad had the "Papa Do not Preach" on repeat since the single had the video premiere in June 1986. It is not easy to come by Robyn, either, and not just because both worked with Kleerup and flirts with 80's synths.
Linda does, however, found over both the recent Madonna and Robyn in the album Max Martin-cooperation "Making Out" (Pink and Katy Perry were probably happy to have it his) and it is something that manifests itself here is the shameless love of danceable pop.
All made with a voice that is international class in the bubblegum genre.

I've found the album..will be back with the results
i heard the song and it's good but not amazing.
yeah the intro is very catchy, I was expecting it to build up into a big pink-like chorus but I was wrong
I heard snippets of the album on iTunes back when it got released and I liked "Making Out". But still I think both of "2 All My Girls" and "Let's Dance" are better.
The album isn't as impressive as I thought, still listening to it anyway!
I adore this song,,,,,,great!!!!!
