I like the original and this is really nice cover, I'm not a Shayne ward fan so I'm not bothered if it's first single or not, but this is an album track!

what i meant it's not first single material, I know it's the official 1st single ;-) , and good news the album has Max song, too bad we already heard it.
I don't but I've always thought that "Cose To Close" sounded like "Rebel" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baYcUqOSqag) from Nikki Flores which is an amazing track.
Cose To Close is nice, I dont know but as of lately we are short of ballads in a world dominated by electro and dance music, Anthor is a master when it comes to sentiments.
I can't believe Shayne would do a Nickelback cover, however, I really like the song and it sounds great.
Great that Close to Close is on his album.

If "Obsession" was released as his first singl off this new record, it would've done ways better than "Gotta Be Somebody".
Now that he is falling like a rock, it's hard to make him on top again!
No one from the ex-Cheiron guys could work his way up again like Max did, he chooses singers wisely (not depending on their talent obviously) but their aura maybe, but at least he stepped up his game by bringing out a new genre.

Obsession is really great, but maybe a bit slow for a single. He needs to release an upbeat song.

Oh ys he did, "Gotta Be Somebody" debuted at 15 on the UK singles chart fell to 24 and now it's 46, while the album also debuted at 15 and fell all the way down to # 40.
This era ended before it even started.
