Brand new song Dr. Luke put up on "Soundcloud" for people to check out..."Price Tag".  Sung by Jessie J,  (co-writer of "Party in the USA").    http://soundcloud.com/drluke/price-tag-90110

I like it -- a nice little break from the electro-trash bubble (and i mean that in the best possible way) Dr Luke has been in for the past few years. I wonder if Max had any input.

not bad, but I don't really like the girl's voice, it's a bit harsh for me. generally this style is not something I like, hmmm, maybe it will grow on me.

interesting Alex, it is a lot similar to that Atomic Kitten song, funny, I'd completely forgotten about them.

Maybe a little in verse, but chorus melody is totally different ;-)     (Actually, the verse reminded me a bit of  verse of "Tattoo" by Jordin Sparks...same kind of melody rhythm as the Atomic Kitten song).

A very nice review -- 'Song of the Day' -- on PopJustice    http://www.popjustice.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=4983&Itemid=279           Crazy idea they have that the lyrics might be a 'satire', though :-)

Great review today of her on "Jools Holland" show.....acoustic version "Price Tag"   http://www.taletela.com/news/3680/jessie-j-gives-outstanding-performance-on-jools-holland-with-price-tag         I like her singing absolutely the best I've heard her on this version-- much smoother, it really got me emotionally and her guitarist is great too ;-)

Totally agree with you, George. In fact, she can sing really good live, she sounds great. Not many can do it.

It's a grower for real but currently I'm completely obsessed with "Do It Like A Dude".
