I love this.

In a sense, Spears, Perry, and Swift are all singing covers of Max Martin recordings. They are also among the few people in the world who have actually heard the originals.

She needs to do SOMETHING, edgy, career changing.
Like Femme Fatale but harder, heavy beat based music.

I'd put Kaytranada or MNEK beats, for example, with Max Martin.

It's amazing that this Time interview was almost 6 months before 9/11:
it was a different time in history, and yet Max is still at a peak of achievement/influence.  So impressive!!
