Anyone know about this? According to Rolling Stone, Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez and Claudia Leitte selected to perform the World Cup theme song "We Are One": Don't know if this is correct but on UK Mix/PopJustice says it's written/produced by Dr. Luke/RedOne/Sia/and Cirkut, and that this is a demo version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wm9YgeFV6aQ#t=46 I must have terrible taste, because 99% of the comments on YOuTube hated this demo but I liked it............whatever, it's definitely professionally done, but do you think it's real? I mean, it's obviously not a demo done by those guys, but then again, neither was original demo of "Walks Likes Rihanna' done by them....so maybe somebody else wrote the basic song and they're handling the final version?
that Demo suxs yeah lol... Probably JLO singing the whole demo tracjk, and Pitbull adds his rap
Wow , RedOne and Dr luke Together , it's very promising.
Sorry, this is one of the entries for a contest that Sony and Ricky Martin held for a song that will be included in the official Fifa album. The winners gets a publishing contract and the song performed by Ricky Martin.

From "The Copenhagen Post"......
World Cup success
Denmark are going to the 2014 World Cup, but unlike Euro 1992, this time it isn't because a war has broken out. The Danish musician and producer Thomas Troelsen has co-written Brazil's official World Cup song, 'We Are One (Ole Ola)'. Sung by rapper Pitbull, and featuring Jennifer Lopez and Brazilian singer Claudia Leitte, the trio will perform it at the opening game in Sao Paolo on June 12.
So..... "We Are One" title........but "We Are Two" different songs.......and @weareprivate is Troelson's Twitter name
We Are Who We Are!!
so is dr luke working on a world cup song.. this is odd.. i didnt think he would do that?
maybe his twitter message referred to certain edits of the song? maybe a promo version for a trailer or such? or jingle-edits?
Maybe there are adaptations of the song for different markets.
I still think it's a shitty song though.
This is the song : http://www.popjustice.com/thenews/a-pitbull-only-version-of-his-world-cup-song-is-now-online/123980/
I don't like it , Sure it's By RedOne or Dr luke?

In fact it's horribly kinda horrible :D How the f**k........?
This is so bad it's like they said "Let's use the same title of that contest winner's song, add "Ole-0la" to it, and then they told Pitbull: 'Go off and take five minutes to record the first semi-catchy melody that pops into your head, and that'll be the song'................
I take back everything I said.... the final of this song is really good!!! http://www.directlyrics.com/new-song-pitbull-we-are-one-news.html Like it alot :D
Luke didn't produce this, did he?

I love this song. Yes, seriously even if it's Pitbull.
Edit: And JLO...
Not as good as Timber and Wild Wild Love.

So... too many ghostwriters just to get some money out of the worldwide airplay of the song.
Shame on all of them.
The song was originally written by Danny Mercer -born Daniel Murcia-, a guy from Colombia based in the US.
Someone here posted the a YouTube link.
Sia Furler is ghostwriter?

Did you read what I wrote? Do you know what is a ghostwriter?
Come on, my english is not that bad...
WTF... the songs catchy
no itzzzzzzzzzzzz not!
It' very catchy in my honest opinion. The chord progression and the soundscape changed everything, sometimes it's not all about melody.

EXACTLY!!! That's what hit me, too -- the chord progression, which is really good, and the first demo didn't have that :-) It added so much to that melody, it was like hearing a different song. I also love that little breakdown part in the middle of the song, where the chords go down in rhythmic hits.

And the rythm of the bassline starting on the second chorus. It has the whole "Lambada" thing going on.
And on top of the composition, the production is pretty damn good too. Luke and Cirkut really killed when it came to evoking the emotion of a world cup anthem. So many details; From the processing of the "Batucada" to the processing of Pitbull's vocals when he chants the ole ole part with the crowd and the vocal processing on Claudia Leitte's voice. It just sounds like a world wide anthem.
Danny Mercer is such a dope writer and he is soo young !!!
and I love the production.
I love the production too, but the song is not catchy enough, however as an anthem it's pretty good.
The song gets better with each listen. I think the verses by J-Lo have a nice energy.
But I really wonder why it took so many established writers to write such a track and what Sia's part was in it?
