New boyband alert.
What do you think of Emblem3's first single, written by Savan Kotecha.
I hope they do an album and we get some Max songs personally :)
When Savan is involved Max can't be far!

Wow great song , it sounds different.
Reminds to me a bit to ''How bizarre'' of OMC in the verses.
Oh yes, now that you mention it!
Sounds also a bit like One Direction (no surprise) and some other influences.
But it's a nice pop song, Savan delivers as usual.
Guys, you need to judge the song as a song, the fact that Savan involved doesn't say nothing, if you want good boyband songs, I still suggest you to listen to backstreet, Nsync, and even 5ive biggest hits.
There is nothing special in this song, the companies decry in the A&R for finding good songs, in this case they lay on the Xfactor and Sony's well oiled machine, and they are feeding us and the young generation with terrible songs , and this increase my yearning for the big Cheiron songs.
Yeah I agree, this song is pretty average. It sounds like a bad Good Charlotte track. The only redeeming feature for me is the second half of the chorus, minus the "Chloe..." last line. Meh.
I'm a sucker for popmusic and glad about every new song that is not rnb-pop etc.
And I'm fully aware, that the Classic Cheiron songs are milestones in pop history and can not be compared to nowadays music.
I do not even expect the new BSB material by Max to be as good as "I want it that way" or other highlights.

You can't get anything close to I Want It That Way with just Max, you need Kristian and Andreas to make a close effort ;)
What are the chances they will work together in the near future?
the chorus is great! sounds like dr. luke :)
good song, i like it!
Turnaround , I am also a sucker of pop music, when I said that it makes me to miss Cheiron, I didn't mean specifically, it make me miss ABBA and other good pop song, a good melody can come even in classic music, and there are enough examples.
I challeng even Max for getting me as a listener, and even Max doesn't succeed every time, the main point that I wanted to say is when Syco records for example produce song for their artists, the x factor effect and Sony's well oiled machine, is unfortunately enough to achieve success, and the record companies are satesfie with a song coming from big name ( Savan / Max/ Luke etc) no matter what the song is, while I can tell you that there are many songs over the world at the level of Cheiron biggest!

I saw that too, Joshua, but couldn't even make it all the way through the video... I think this is what Dr. Luke was talking about a couple years ago when he said he wasn't interested in boy bands......something like "Should kids be writing about love.....and would you let a 14 year old re-write the Constitution" lol. (Quoting for memory, but you get the idea :D

I found it hard to watch as well! I sometimes feel too old for boybands now!
I agree with what Dr Luke said, however, boybands are a great vehicle for pop music.
I'm excited about the Max Martin song though. I don't mind Chloe, it's not amazing, but pretty good.
Do you guys mean the whole "leading the music industry with our message of what beauty really is" thing?
just listened to this song again, it's really good! the chorus is absolutely amazing, sounds pretty much like Luke, Cirkut & Blanco ... I could've sworn it's produced by these guys! :P looking forward to their album anyway, especially since Max Martin is involved :D

It sounds fresh and different.
Sounds... interesting. I'm really not digging the lead singers punk pop style vocals though, it's killing it for me. Joel Madden eat your heart out.

He's killing it means he's the best in my opinion. Like his performance was absolutely stunning!

Haha agreed, but "it's killing it for me" means ruining it.
They did a song called "Teenage Kings" with them. Preview on iTunes of the whole album - https://itunes.apple.com/br/album/nothing-to-lose-deluxe-version/id655667925
Listened to the 1:30 snippets on iTunes.
And this duel Rami vs. Max goes to RAMI.
"Teenage Kings" sounds fresher and has more appeal to me.
But I have to listen to full of course to be able to judge everything.
BTW: Spaghetti sounds quite catchy too.
The album is on a private set on Soundcloud in full, check it out: http://www.josepvinaixa.com/blog/emblem3-nothing-to-lose-stream/
This album is Amazing!!!!

Also released in Germany. Can listen to it now. Great label policy!
Love Chloe. Amazing song! Also the only one I bought off this album. 3000 Miles is also a pretty good song but not worth my money.
debuted at #7 on the charts.
These songs are too young for me. I like the chorus to Nothing to Lose. Teenage Kings is good.
Same here. I rather listen to James Blunt than to Emblem3. But I guess for their fans it's a great album.
gosh, now I find myself addicted to Nothing to Lose, at first it annoyed me but now I can't get it out of my head.
The stuff Kool Kojak did with them in 2013 was dope. big pop/SoCal skater vibes done well
