Hey guys, just wondering what your thoughts were on this..

I know a lot of super producers/composers/songwriters seem to have it or have had it. It's basically a condition where your senses are crossed and when auditory information is interpreted, it physically activates the visual cortex. In other words, people with synesthesia literally see music, sometimes in colors and/or shapes.. A few notables are,

Pharrell Williams
Stevie Wonder
Quincy Jones
Jimi Hendrix
Billy Joel
Kanye West
Beethoven
Mozart
Franz Liszt
Paul McCartney
Lady Gaga
Bob Dylan

Do you think it's a coincidence that all of these musical geniuses are noted to have it? Do you think that Max Martin has it too, considering he is a pop genius? Do you think it's the key to being an incredible songwriter? Some food for thought and interesting to think about.

Has there been any credible medical research on this? It sounds like a clever little statement to create intrigue

It's a neurological phenomenon, widely researched but still pretty unknown.
