Hi everyone,
Some guy emailed me the other day and wanted to know what we all thought about this new artist Liz Hodgins. I'm not sure what this guy has to do with Liz, he just wanted some feedback. All I know about Liz is that she's Australian but I've never heard of her (I don't think she's worked with any ex-Cheiron songwriters but I have no idea).
Here's her Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/lizhodginsofficial
I'd appreciate if you would post your comments about her. Thanks!
Rebecca
Wow! I love both songs! Catchy, well produced, good vocals... great songs! :o
Especially "All of Me"... that's a hit. ;D
Thanks Tiiger, it's good you like her
I think the songs are very polished and she has a good voice, the songs are pretty good but they don't stick in my mind and I've forgotten them already. I think she has a lot of potential though.
I liked her voice and her style she seems to have a good songs , all of me is really good
the songs are quite acceptable...but not GREAT.
It's just so-so to me.
I won't remember either of the songs afterwards.
I prefer stephanie mcIntosh like australian pop rock singer.
Hey Rebecca, I finally found time to listen to her songs.
"All of me" and "You thought" have a very familiar sound, reminds me of the early Ashlee Simpson and Veronicas.
But I like it. It's not very innovative but solid and the voice is good too!
She should go for a bit more individual sound but well done altogether!
Thanks guys for your comments!
Sounds good to me, especially Maybe and All of Me.
Ilike MAYBE!!!!
Female rock was always my big love, all songs are just what I really like, thanks for posting it!!!
Wow, check out her new song "Uh Oh". What a hit!!!
MAYBE is the only hits for me!!!!
i don't like the other. All of me is nice but not a HIT!!!!
"Uh Oh" is okay, to me not a hit, but who knows. I like "All of Me" better.
Yeah she's one of the stars in the Lindsay Rimes Song Studio.
Lindsay focuses on aussie pop-rock, the way Audius focuses on aussie r&b / pop.
I love uh-oh, catchy for sure.
Also check out another Lindsay protege, Bianca. Both artists are artists to watch.
lol, i think i had a singing lesson with mr rimes a few years ago in his studio in surry hills. He's doing VERY well for himself currently- kudos to him.
