So here is Hit The Lights  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sE6fXmTkM7w
And When The Sun Goes Down http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6j6pGMPH9k

I absolutely love Hit The The Lights  ;D They sound like Luke/Max tracks to me but we shall have to wait and see.
I still like them anyway. Sorry for the poor quality.

Rebecca

I love Hit the Lights too, sounds like it will be a really good album, even if there's no Max/Luke.

Yes, whoEVER wrote the verses to "Hit The Lights", I think those verses are the best thing on the whole album...really beautiful!!!

Update:   Couldn't find the booklet scans before......OK so it's by "Dreamlab", production/songwriting team from LA, run by Leah Haywood and her husband --she's originally a singer from Australia.  Damn, they're good :-)

''Hit the lights'' is the best song!

Although I love too the verses of ''Love you like a love song''.

oh, that is interesting, George, I hadn't heard of Leah Haywood for a while. you may know this, but Leah Haywood had a Cheiron song back in 2000:

We Think It's Love: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Auzej2GCv5I

written by Jorgen Elofsson and Leah Haywood

Rebecca, I love Leah Haywood!

She also sang backing vocals for Max's "That's the Way It Is" (Celine Dion)

She also has "Takin' Back What's Mine"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECjWrP7C7uM  < ~~~~ another great song by Jorgen Elofsson

I think We Think It's Love was produced by Per and David too :) I miss the year 2000!

Oh dear  :( Sorry for getting everyone excited for nothing. Guess I should learn not to trust wikipedia!
Hope you all like Hit The Lights though. I'm glad I listened to it even if its not Max  :)

Rebecca

that's okay JackSnr, it's always good to investigate all possibilities, just in case there was a Max song!
and Selena's album sounds like it will be really good anyway.

gm33: yes, the year 2000 was a great year! I like Takin' back what's mine too

1st single: Come & Get It (prod. by StarGate) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-D1EB74Ckg
2nd single: Slow Down (prod. by The Cataracs [Like A G6]) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGEf8dXN2sU

both singles are awesome whereas I prefer "Slow Down", which is obviously cribbed from Dr. Luke, Cirkut, Max Martin, Shellback, Ammo and so on ... still amazing! :) I think this is gonna be a great album! What do you think?

Arnthor Birgisson, Jason Evigan, Mich Allan & Toby Gad will be involved! :) (source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stars_Dance#Track_listing)

Out

Arnthor Birgisson has co-written the song "Write Your Name" for new Selena's album and it sounds quite good, as the whole album actually.

BTW, I merged the three existing Selena Gomez thread into this one here.

And in other news:

The album can be streamed at iTunes US.
And I liked it..

melodicmoonlight

this album is not impressive at all to me. most of the songs are like stock pop songs, nothing new or exciting. production is dense and her vocals don't do anything for me. sounds like she's just singing songs the way the engineer told her to sing/pronounce everything. like an actor who sounds like they're just reading from the script when they're acting.

some artists do pull that off; successful pop singers who don't write the material but fit the material so well. also, seeing the list of producers...she couldn't have done any better? no Dr. Luke? it's all cheesy glittery dancey pop or faux urban synthy songs

j.fco.morales

I liked a couple of songs, but the thing is that her voice don't do justice to the songs. She just can't sing.

Forget Forever would sound really good sung by someone like Demi Lovato, for example. I also liked Write Your Name, I thought is was written by Ina Wroldsen, sounds a lot like this, both produced by Arnthor Birgisson: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIKtfcprb_w

I bought Slow Down, Come & Get It, Undercover. Awesome productions unlike the rest of the album.

Feelgoodlies

"Save the Day" is the best of all the tracks besides "Slow Down". I liked the production. It's a single-worthy track!
