Yes, it was announced tonight. Jörgen Elofsson and Andreas Carlsson have penned the official Swedish Idol-winning-song 2008!
We'll get to hear it in two weeks when the big finale takes place at the Globe Arena. They both described it as a typical Idol-song but a bit different, a bit faster according to Jörgen.

Fantastic news. I love it when the Cheiron-guys get together and write.

I like when this two guys work together. They try to break the sterotypes: one can think they are going to come up with a dramatic Cheiron-inspired ballad but they are not. Just think of We Are for Ana Johnsson, they really surprised mewith sucha great rock tune, I thought i was written by Per and Max.

Kevin, one of the finalists, just performed "With Every Bit of Me". Alice will sing it after the break.

The song is gorgeous. Really really lovely! It's not a slow slow ballad, but still a ballad.

I will rip the live versions for you in around 15 minutes!

I guess today on Idol final they can announce officially if Andreas really wrote song for EMD for Melodifestivalen.

Kevin has a BIGGER voice than Alice but BOTH are really EXCELLENT. I love Alice, she's been my favourite from the start but Kevin is the big favourite and will win.
