I agree about the vocals feeling like background to the instrumental but I don't think that's a bad thing. The track is dreamy, funky, and has high replay value.

It's ingenious for Britney's first music in 6 years to be attached to another music legend, Elton John. It will pull in both Elton's baby boomer fans and Britney's millennial fanbase. Yes, both their vocals are processed to death but I really don't mind it.

Let's hope if Britney decides to do a solo album she gets back with Max bc he's really the only one who vocal produces Britney the best and knows how to process/tune her vocals in such a way that it doesn't sound robotic.

I dare to say that Britney's best vocals are the ones with Max. The classic Britney sounds is the one they built together.

I think we all can agree that at least it's not produced by will.i.am

And the Mattman and Robin produced tracks in Glory sounds very much like classic Britney.

Where can I find those tracks in Glory? I don't know what Glory is :) I wanna hear the song(s).
Hi, I'm Luke and I'm sitting on my throne! Oh, and have you noticed that Denniz PoP songs are extremely hooky?

I don't know much about Reneé Rapp but she has a reputation of making very slow ballads which are borderline boring with great producers
