Wow, the more often you listen to it the better it gets.
But it seems to flop:

DNCE, Main Artist - Oscar Holter, Author, Composer - Oscar Görres, Author, Composer - Justin Tranter, Author, Composer
Jinx is quite nice. Has some good lyrics and i like the chorus melody.
Holy shit, this EP is sooooooooo good.
The two Mattman & Robin songs are gloriously funky, but my heart really lies with the magnificent pop-yness of "Jinx" (that weirdly produced 'aaa-aaa-aaa' hook is great) and especially "Toothbrush". Drug-like melodies.
Did you get to work with Max himself as well?
DNCE: Oh yes. It's funny with him – you'll be working on a song and he'll peek his head in and ask, 'can I listen?', and we'll be like 'Oh s**t'. He'll listen to what you've done and suggest the tiniest tweak in the way you sing a line, and it'll make it amazing. He's incredible – and it's not just because he's Max Martin – he just knows what he's talking about. He's like a pop god.

Funny - it took quite a while till it took off.
In other news, there are new registered tracks at ASCAP:

Oh and it took me so long until I realized how good JINX is. Such a clever production and interesting songwriting.
It's been a while since rami didn't do something without carl.
Maybe it's not that surprising since last year I've seen carl's first production without rami in Lost and Found. It just so happened that it was Carl's first proper collaboration with Max (I still don't count forever until tomorrow).
I don't recognise Rami's sound anymore on his own, we'll se here.
I'm really diggin the songs lately.
Toothbrush is such a banger.
@nanofives: Interesting, why don't you count the MKTO song? :)
"Toothbrush" is very Shellback-ish.

"Toothbrush" is very Shellback-ish.
Haha oh yes!
BRILLIANT EP! Just bought/discovered it.
Jinx is definitely the very best song.
We have yet to see a song written by Shellback and Ilya, although they produced together.
I don't count the MKTO because: It's a song from the middle of the album strangely, it doesn't like something max did, it's like they've thrown Max name over there, it isn't even a main single (just promotional), and it's the only song that Max did with Rami between 2006 and today. It's just my opinion because if we don't count just that one song, then now it has been 10 years without Max and Rami.
Pay My Rent is soooo groovy and catchy - that chorus!!!
the verses sound a lot like FutureSex/LoveSound :D
the whole song is quite JTish :)
José / turnaround: could you please change the thread title to a more general one so that one can find the thread easier?
A new registered track with Rami as co-writer:
Truthfully Kristoffer Fogelmark, Joe Jonas, Albin Nedler, Justin Tranter & Rami Yacoub
The full length album is coming, Nov 18th and it includes the song Rami produced (as he said on twitter), I'm really excited for this. I'm hoping to see a lot more Wolf Cousins' songs.
yayyy :)
Their new single should be out sometime soon I think.
Seems that Rami Yacoub is part of the new DNCE single per his Instagram post today

You can listen to the new song here:

Nice sound, a little bit redundant comparing their previous works. It's very catchy, I can't seem to identify how much input did Rami have over there.
I'm curious to see how sounds the songs that joe jonas wrote with the struts
Chorus is really grating. This is way weaker than anything on the EP and has no hit potential.
They use the CSTF bassline, rhythm- and sound-wise ???
I don't think it is weak in any way, there is a lot of energy in the chorus, and Joe's falsetto it's super catchy, as always, I like it even more than Toothbrush.
Yea what are you all talking about? This is a fantastic song. Also, the EP was stylized as "Swaay" with two 'a's, not one

Can't Stop The Feeling
and yay, two new MatRob songs
I told you a million times: listen to Chic before even talking about a bassline.
Oh my god, these credits are awesome, I can't wait for the LP. It's a shame all the struts songs that were registered endep up scrapped. And I was hoping to see the full combo of the wolf cousins, but I guess Ali and Tove aren't the perfect match for the sound and personality of the band.
Body Moves is great! I'm looking forward to the album.
It's a bit annoying how they mixed up the LFN (TGIF) & LMLYD pres in the Toothbrush pre.

"Truthfully" sounds like it was intended for One Direction.
I tend to think those Albin Nedler & Kristoffer Fogelmark cowrites were actually One Direction songs.
Who are they? Are these the first time them and Rami worked together?
Easily one of the catchiest albums I've heard so far.
What a catchy, melodic fun pop album. Great debut
Is what I expected from Maroon 5, actually.

At least we can say Max had some kind of input over there, like he did with Avril a few years ago.

New Single "Forever"
http://www.josepvinaixa.com/blog/dnce-forever
"Forever" was written by Stevy Pyne, Cole Whittle, Dan Crean and hitmaker Justin Tranter.
New song "Kissing Strangers ft. Nicki Minaj" supposedly produced by M&R, can anyone confirm this?
It's a very catchy tune, keeping the formula of their disc, seems more like a recycled beat from cake by the ocean and naked.
So... What's up with Nicki and the Jonas?

A bad copy from Blas. The mixing is awful.
Do Ya Think I'm Sexy is masterpiece, I love Rod Stewart.
I'm not feeling the new arrangements and the vocal production: Joe Jonas sounds horrible. The track is cool but my overall impression is that sounds like a bad mash up.
N-Trance did a very cool version in 1998: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mWKfR4FU70

I like that.
I love Do Ya Think I'm Sexy too, but Joe Jonas doesn't have a good enough voice for this!
Yes, I don't understand why Rami would get a songwriting credit?
In the live version Joe killed it, Rod it's faded but still fun having him reinventing his song. Rami and co are here because of the instrumentals, which are not very similar from the original version.
Just listened to their album again, such a disappointment. Can't believe the credits ...

Am I committed to listen to every album as soon as it comes out?
Or am I only allowed to like an album within the first few weeks after release?
Honestly, what is your point?
Your post easily belongs to the five dumbest comments ever in this forum.

I'm a huge Robin Hannibal fan.
Good news: a new EP is out.
Two Robin Hannibal produced songs and two more by Kevin Kesse, Freddy Wexler & Spencer Thomas Lee.
Heard the EP.
I read on Genius.com that the Robin Hannibal songs were penned during Kimbra's Primal Heart sessions.
Robin is a great songwriter/producer, but I don't feel the vibe between DNCE's and the songs.
It feels like a rush release, maybe? At least, their other songs were co writes and none of these songs are cowrites... I kinda lost the connection between the records and the songs: it sounds darkish than their previous records.
