Mike Comparetto, a NYC engineer and producer, has worked with a ''writing team'' that has written songs for Rihanna and Kelly lately. This '' writing team'' , as he says, has written hits like '' Hot 'n' Cold '', My life would suck without you'' and '' Teenage Dream ''. Of course it's Max and Luke, right?

According to wikipedia there are 2 songs by Luke on the Rihanna album "Talk that talk"
1. "You Da One" (Lukasz Gottwald, Ester Dean, John Hill, Robyn Fenty)
2. "Where Have You Been" ( Gottwald, Dean, Calvin Harris Harris)
Both are produced by Luke apparently.
Don't know if Max played any role.
Dr Luke is really EVERYWHERE.

Agree :) The thing I like about it best is the way the bassline changes slightly on the second time thru of chorus....nice.

Amazing.
Both tracks aint bad... can't say I'm a big fan of the breakdown part after the chorus in "Where Have You Been". It's like I'm expecting Will.I.Am to say "dirty bit" or "switch up" or something. But apart from that it's cool!
I love the verses of "Where Have You Been", but not so much the chorus.
Not a big fan of these songs, I agree with Rebecca, the verses are way better!
But there is even one more song Dr Luke did for her:

Not listenable yet I think.
Really like that "Where Have You Been", and agree the verses are best, love those guitar chords, very atmospheric, not usual dance type chords.....great song for Fall/Winter vibe!

I don't like Dr.Luke songs for Rihanna... not that good!
I really like his song for Miranda Cosgrove "Hight Maintenance" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SwTzcoaL-w), I just knew about it, about 2 months maybe, I liked it before I knew it was by him, it's a really nice track musically and funny lyrically, his productions were good they get better and better on the song I like the bridge music(after the 2nd chorus) and the instrumental part wow totally Luke electro, and then he finally ends it with a haha just like Ke$ha's Tik Tok laugh!

Yes, it's a good song and funny......written by Billy Steinberg, Josh Alexander and Rivers Cuomo. On their site it lists them as producers too, but there's a star (*) next to that, so I don't know what that means. http://mcdanielentertainment.com/billyandjosh.php

Yes, that's Rivers Cuomo from "Weezer"........you prob know, but Dr. Luke did a great record with him called "Magic" -- didn't do too well, but it's hot! :-)

Yep, "High Maintenance" is written by Billy Steinberg, Rivers Cuomo and Josh Alexander. Produced by Josh Alexander and Rivers Cuomo per the cd booklet

I love the Magic song. I've heard it so many times and didn't realise it was Dr Luke. Now, I've listened to it again, I can totally hear it.

Wiki is pretty unreliable for production info... apparently Max produced *NSync's "It's Gonna Be Me", and Denniz Pop co-produced "...Baby One More Time". :S
EDIT: Just realised anyone can edit Wiki pages, so I fixed them!
