Can't believe I still haven't replied to this thread. It is really hard to keep only 5 songs though...but the "survivors" would be:

1- shape of my heart (bsb)
2- the call (bsb)
3- lucky (britney)
4- tell me what you like (jessica)
5- i'll never stop (nsync)

ahh, can't believe i couldn't put dede's get to you, celine's that's the way it is, stronger, overprotected, 4ever and so on.....

Very interesting question!
I already wrote my TOP 5 on MAXMARTINFANSITE,maybe you saw it!But I'll write my top 5 here of course.
So,
1 – Nick Carter – Blow Your Mind
This is my favorite song! It's the first Max Martins rock song that I heard. I didn't know thitherto, that he initially had been a rocker! And I was amazed, as far as he well write in such different styles! And so cool lyrics, this song had sense! So I fell in love with this song forever! :)
2 – Backstreet Boys – Everybody
Well, here I have nothing to say, this is a hit for years!
3 – Backstreet Boys – Siberia
Because I half Russian and fully can consider Russia the home country, I was initially pleasant, that Max had written this song. And I in a melody hear something russian and northern in spite of the fact that text not in principle about Siberia. And song is very beautiful and sincere!
4 – Britney Spears – Overprotected
I do not know, why I like most exactly this Britneys song that Max wrote. But I like it very much!
5 – probably all the same this is Pink – Cuz I Can
I have bought her CD because of the same three songs which Max had wrote and Cuz I Can I didn't like at all.But then I have heard in chorus classical sound of Max and and sharply came to love this song, presumably forever!
And I'll say that all so already know – such talent as at Max will not be at anybody and his songs are amasing, they do a world better!!!

nshinnosuke

I can't choose 5 because there are more...
So I put them in random order..
Can't Make You Love Me
Stronger
Overprotected
Don't Go Knockin On My Door
Oops I Did It Again
Baby One More Time
Lucky
Cinderella
Bombastic Love
Love Is All We Need (Celine Dion)
Behind These Hazel Eyes
Break You (Marion Raven)
U+Ur Hand
It's Gonna Be Me
Girl Like Me (Skye Sweetnam)
Everything I'm Not

Rebecca

good choices! though totally cheating by adding more than 5, haha.

Sorry, it's impossible to pick just one lol. And I know for a fact "If U Seek Amy" will be one of my favorites, I just need to hear the full version before I can rank it correctly. It's already higher than CIC and BTHE, in my book. :D

Actually "Overprotected" was planned to be released in many countries, but in the end it was cancelled in most.

According to Wikipedia, it was released as a single in most non-US territories.

In the US, only the Darkchild Remix of the song charted.

Overprotected was released everywhere in the world as the 2nd single of "Britney" except in the US where Not A Girl was the 2nd and Overprotected the 3rd.
