I think was expecting a little more for a comeback song but it's nice enough

Very Jimmy Napier sounding record.

I liked it but I was expecting a different type of production/arrangement.

I don't get why they didn't continue with the Diamonds sound- that was spot on, super fresh, and catchy. Also How Do You Sleep. those felt like such one offs but that sound worked so well for Sam.

I agree, even with Stargate themselves it's a weird move, Dancing With A Stranger was also quite unique on Sam's catalog at that time and it was way catchier than this one.

new sound design courtesy of Blinding Lights. Ava Max is chasing it too with Maybe You're the Problem.

Netsky — Barricades (with Rita Ora)

Written

Produced by Netsky & Stargate

Netsky and Rita Ora's faces are so funny. A low-effort single cover.
It seems Ora decided to cooperate with every single rising edm producer.
Nice of her. Bang with Imanbek was good.

I love this one, I wonder if Ina get royalties anyway if someone writes her name wrongly. It sounds a lot like her.

Of course she does, songwriters make a living out of royalties.

nanofives

I said it because she's credited as Inna Wrolsen, I see misspelled names in streaming services all the time, I was wondering if that affects the songwriter somehow.

I think in your publishing company you have an ID and your songs have IDs.
Otherwise, it would be a disaster for Johns Smiths to receive their royalties if it was tracked down with your names.

Still sounds like recycling from Max's work with The Weeknd, and I love it
