I don't think Max was involved. But I might be wrong.
The dubstep part is way too Benny Benassi to be honest. Dubstep isn't that cool when it's overly done, it makes the song like a bad friend long remix.
The chorus sounds so familiar for me , Yes it is so dubstep.
wow, I really like this. Probably Max isn't involved but it's good anyway.
That's a new song I guess:
Victimless Crime
Kesha

Thanks, it's quite catchy 8)
I liked it!! , Great song!
It hasn't grown on me yet, maybe I need to give it a few more listens. Somehow I don't tend to get into a lot of Luke's work when Max isn't involved, not always, but usually.
I think it's a good song.
Joshua, I guess Dr.Luke puts more pop sense to his songs than Max when he produces alone.
I like it, yeah, it's catchy, a typical Kesha song.

Wow , it sounds amazing!
I'm really liking the chorus, this could be the first Ke$ha song I listen to more than a few times. ;D
fuck, that chorus is great!! ;D
^ ^ ^
You said it right! :-) The very definition of what Raul calls " The Drug Effect"........really perfect record. Can't even express how powerful this sounds to me over headphones.......F***NG unbelievable.
yes, the chorus is amazing! it definitely has the 'drug effect'!
Only Wanna Dance with you was leaked to the internet very long time ago:
It's also by Max
writers
K. Sebert, Gottwald, Martin, Walter
producers
Dr. Luke, Cirkut, Max Martin
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTEbLM3vcqc
Was taken down on YouTube in U.S. but I found it here http://www.tumblr.com/tagged/only-wanna-dance-with-you
The beat reminds me of a song Luke did with Cathy Dennis for Sugababes "Surprise", because it takes chances with a different kind of beat, and is very stripped down guitar/bass. Here's "Surprise" in case you don't know or forgot it :-) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CiefG03NTuc
Great song :P !!

Full versions have turned not as amazing but still good (I'm missing big dance-choruses) and I'm sort of obsessed with All That Matters (The Beautiful Life) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OV7hbf_DVI0).
Amazing pop album!!
''All that matters'' is FUCKIN EPIC , what a chorus my god , Max you are a genius!!

11. "All That Matters (The Beautiful Life)" is really a gem.
Incredibly catchy.
What a great team.
Kesha, Lukas, Savan, Alex, Shellback and Max. wow!!!!
It reminded me of something from the 1996 Max/Denniz.... I dont know! I liked it a lot!
The other songs are just ok, there isn't really a stand-out song!
Maybe it was a track for BSB or Britney in the 90's that wasn't recorded.
The vibe of the song is so 90's.
Max produced it himself, and it's the stand-out track......
He should have produced more - but probably he was busy 8)
I love "All That Matters" too, amazing. Yeah, it definitely has that 90's sound to it! just awesome.
I like the rest of the album too, I like it better than Animal.
Yeah the chorus does have a bit of a eurodance 90's vibe in the way it's written doesn't it.
Good news, look what they've selected for the second single... :D

I don't know how I feel about all of this!
http://www.billboard.biz/bbbiz/industry/record-labels/ke-ha-was-forced-to-sing-die-young-lyrics-1008054762.story
She was forced to sing it? By whom?
For her to say that in public like that, with the album just out, I can just imagine what kind of s**t is really going on behind the scenes which we'll never know until a true book comes out about it. Amazing that Billboard published her deleted Tweet, but I'm glad they did. Obviously her song has zero to do with what happened, which makes it more interesting that she said that.......
Oh this is very interesting. I'm guessing she had issues with the lyrics but execs above her liked the track and wanted it left the way it is. Now all the Illuminati fanatics are assuming she was forced because they were aware of the "conspiracy" behind the upcoming school massacre. ::)
hmm I didn't even think of that yet, but yeah now that you mention it, it does make sense to remove the song. In 2004 in Germany there was a song by a band named Juli, named "Perfekte Welle" (perfect wave)... lyrics went a bit like "this is the perfect wave, it is the perfect day, let it carry you" etc...
it was climbing high on the charts. And then the tsunami hit.
I am very intrigued about this! I was surprised that Kesha would be forced to sing something she didn't want to. When she was promoting the song a few weeks ago, reporters asked her about the meaning of the song and using the word die and she defended the song and the lyrics just to promote it and now she is back-tracking! Maybe it was Dr Luke who forced her? he was one of the producers after-all.
Axel, that is freaky about that German song that came out before the tsunami!
So weird.
But what about the other albums - by Lana Del Rey for example..
Why would Kesha sing something she doesn't want to. She seems confident to say no and there was lots of other possible song material.
http://www.vulture.com/2012/12/okay-keha-wasnt-forced-to-sing-die-young.html
I don't believe a word of it.......... I do still admire her for having the courage to say what she did yesterday though.
She co-wrote the song but its possible she didn't want the song to be released as a single. We all know how labels are these days.
This is truly confusing. She's signed to Kemosabe Records (Dr. Luke) and the song was written and produced by Dr. Luke. So who else could have forced her? Her manager? I don't get it.
I just hope that this isn't the end for the Luke/Ke$ha relationship :(
That was my thought too.
I doubt it, the song was written way before the shooting and it was unfortunate. But many artists these days don't always have the say in picking singles, album songs, or even what they wear cause management and the label have so much say.
I bought "Warrior" the other day and I'm really enjoying it. I never thought I'd buy a Ke$ha record, but "C'mon" got me hooked. It's seriously worth a listen to and only took one or two listens to grow on me. Definitely check out "Love Into The Light" and "Thinking Of You". Some tracks are very Katy Perry (especially "Supernatural"), and somehow "Out Alive" starts out as a twin brother to "Scream" by Usher.
Anyone else got it?
I bought Warrior too, I like it much better than Animal. I love C'mon and All That Matters, I listen to both those songs nearly every day.
The video for "C'mon" is out... it's seriously awesome!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8A4QVop3-8 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8A4QVop3-8)
C'Mon flopped sadly, didn't it?
The album also didn't do as well as expected.
New single already announced:
Crazy Kids - (Remix mit will.i.am)
http://www.allaccess.com/audio/player?audio_id=2567
(http://i48.tinypic.com/1j12eb.jpg)
Yeah I'm so sad it flopped, all my favourites have lately. "Crazy Kids" seemed to be a popular choice for a single by the fans. I really hope will.i.am hasn't destroyed it though.
EDIT: I just had a listen, and will.i.am's part is so unnecessary. It's there simply to get this higher in the charts, which is fair enough considering the performance of "C'mon"... but I've seriously had enough of him. >:(
I don't understand either why C'mon (or Kesha in general) flopped lately. The song has all the ingredients of a smash. Are people just fed up with Kesha as a person? Or has her squeaky way of "singing" verses worn off a bit? I don't know. And I guess we always won't know what makes a hit and what doesn't, and it probably is better that way. Like this stuff like Gangnam Style can happen out of the blue, and I love that.
A pity the flop , this williiam rap is so unnecessary.
I really struggle sometimes to understand what makes a particular single so successful. It can be hard to shift from your own perspective. I mean, I have to ask myself how "C'mon" could have possibly performed any worse than "Die Young". I think "C'mon" is by far the better track. But, how many music buyers are judging these songs based on what we do? Probably very few. For most it's just about that overall feeling a song gives them, which could simply be down to a great beat, or a particular lyric. Not to mention all the other aspects like Ke$ha's celebrity status, how the song comes across in clubs, the promotion, the music video... there are so many factors.
Maybe if "C'mon" had been released first up it would've made number two and "Die Young" would've flopped. It could be as simple as that. I dunno. ???
I'm sad "C'mon" flopped, it's such a great song. I think people could be tired of Kesha, she has the same image as the first album (party girl). It's a shame, this album is so much better.
Probably will i am is just what Crazy kids needs to be a hit. People love will i am.
Yeah I think you guys are right, to most people it was probably not different or fresh enough, just same old Ke$ha, despite the song itself being brilliant in our eyes. Don't most big artists get away with not evolving too much from their first to second album though?
It gets worse.
A Pitbull remix.

I've been watching it, we're up to around episode 3 over here. It was filmed by her brother, and pretty much only covers her time on the road during her first headlining tour. Luke is listed in the credits as executive producer under Kemosabe productions/entertainment or something, but I'm yet to see him or Max in it. It's quite interesting though, you get to see so many sides of her.

"Making my last record, Warrior, was a pretty miserable process, and it wore my spirit down. I just think most of the songs she initially wrote were not up to par with Luke's standards, so she had to surrender a lot of her creative power to Luke.
I think she can do her own thing, even without Luke, but she needs to work with the right people still.

Well, THAT didn't last long :-) Was all set to watch the second show tonight, but right off the bat the judges, including Kesha, all voted for this girl doing a truly horrible version of "We Are Young" ......Simon Cowell would've told her the truth....NOONE in the real world would buy a record of that!! Well, on the first show there was a country singer who already has records out, is kinda known by country fans, and she and Brad Paisley ( one of the judges) said right on the show that they "had friends in common" or something.....but the worst one was this hot girl they "picked at random" out of the audience, to perform on the show......she's got all kinds of stuff going on already including having already been a semi-finalist or something on X-Factor. NOTHING wrong with any of that, good for her of course, but the way they're presenting this stuff for the show is very fake. (Lotta people on Twitter talking about that).
Just Googled her......there's a Rock City connection too..........http://wbaentertainment.com/index.php/about/macy-kate/

Not sure how reliable this site is. There is no other information currently out there on this. Plus, despite everything that happened between Luke and Kesha, the contract situation isn't that simple to be resolved this quick and without any legal drama. Second, Luke would be insane to release Kesha. She's a proven moneymaking machine. Plus, he's her label, so he can set her up with different producers to work with.
Not saying that there won't be a break, but it's not that simple and I think there would be rumors by now. That said, it is kind of surprising that there hasn't been much out there on their relationship. My guess is they are trying to work it out.

Kesha has made multi-millions for herself and her label (Kemosabe). It's not only sales (which, by the way, she is one of the best selling digital artists of all time), it's also touring, radio play, merchandise, licensing, etc.
Respectfully, I must say you are absolutely wrong.

On time zones, they have two separate votings, so the West Coast goes second: I think they've saved some singers who didn't make it through on the East Coast :-)
I agree with you on Kesha, too.
Today I was listening to the whole Warrior album again, really some great bubblegum pop stuff!

The lyrics are very well written but it's so odd having so much arrangements and a buildup for a piano-only song. I think it would suit better now than back then.
Mm, looks like Charli writes a lot.
It's not from Luke, nor Cirkut I suppose. Kesha has no approval rights over the content she made according to the contract she has with Prescription songs. So if Luke says no to his songs, it's a no. Although Luke has the right to deliver 6 songs per kesha album, he doesn't make use of that right. In 2013 Kesha worked with Greg Kurstin I believe and released an EP with him. Details of the contract between Kash Money Inc and Kesha, Prescription Songs and Kesha and Kemosabe/RCA/Sony and Kesha can be found in the court files published online for those who are interested.
I miss trashy glitter party pop from Kesha. Just ain't the same without Tyson Trax
