Wowww , it's amazing Hear to Max here!
Max's vocal on "used to go with the flow" always blew me away. SO good.
Someone here a long time ago said that it was actually Andreas carlsson that sang those male parts

Yeah! All the Cheiron songs sounds good for this reason!
It wouldn't be the same without the typical swedish backing vocals
Backing singers should get more credit.
Nana, Jessica Folker, Anna Nordell and Jeannette Olsson. All of them are awesome, but NaNa has a sweet spot in my heart.

Yeah, especially on the E-Type albums where they actually are features instead of backing vocalists. Yeah, Nana is very special! I just wrote her on facebook and she even replied to me :) unfortunately she's suffering from cancer but it seems like she's on a good way :)
I also love Jessica Folker but more as a so artist than as a backing vocalist! "Jessica" and "Dino" are two great albums!!

Really?!? That's interesting! I figured it was the same male vocalist as on "...Baby, One More Time", which I also thought was Max. I'll see if Discogs can help.

Why discogs?? The booklets say in both cases Britney Spears, Max Martin & Nana Hedin.

Why Discogs? Have a guess...
I already did this and posted it here a few years ago, you just need a "karaoke" software ! I love it!
The Quality of the Sound Sucks ! because it was made with an mp3 ! it's better with a Wav file!

I did it with "I want it that way" ! but it's not the best to discover the cheiron Backing vocals!
I added "Larger Than Life" ! the Back vocals are amazing on this song!

One of the most beautiful Backing vocals track I ever heard !
"Cinderella" from Britney !

the file will be available just a few moment...
Thank you!!! :D
Unfortunately AJ's "no matter the distance, I want you to know that deep down inside of me" doesn't come out as clearly as I hoped but still interesting :)
It basically comes down to what effects the producer/mixer uses on each vocal and how they're placed in the mix. What you're doing is removing anything mono from the mix and listening to whatever stereo material is left. So, for example, if a stereo reverb or chorus effect is used, which for backing vocals is very common to separate them from the lead vocal, then you're going to hear them clearly once you remove the mono vocal from the mix. You usually hear a slight amount of lead vocal too because there might be a bit of reverb etc used, but it's kept pretty narrow in the mix.
In the case of AJ's harmony on the "I Want It That Way" bridge, it's been mixed like two leads together as opposed to a lead with a one man stereo backing vocal, which would probably sound a bit weird in this case.
wow, those are incredible, thank you Nico.
I love Cinderella! just gorgeous.
