I've come across their "Procussion" module, and have come across a couple possible cheiron sounds in the "Dance 2000" demo. The claps.

In which songs were those claps used?
I think some stuff from this synth were used for Overprotected and Not A Girl

Quit Playin' Games (With My Heart). Those are heard at the breakdown.

Which ones? A lot of Roland was used, too.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sczzLaGOZdI Also this rack. One of the open hats, and maybe the triangle too.

I heard the snare used on Not A Girl and Overprotected. And also the Overprotected stab is there too and the very beginning weird vocals used on Overprotected intro that also u can hear on Mandy Moore's Candy

Oh, did you? Hmm interesting. At what points?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sczzLaGOZdI E-mu Planet Phatt (part of the proteus line) in this demo you will hear one of the open hats that cheiron has used. Mo'phatt came out when Cheiron would've already gone under. So which module came first? Planet Phatt? Turbo? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHy6GFyYVWE

Hey, I think E-Mu Proteus may have a few pings. Infinite One (a patch).
Doubt they're the same user by Max on his early stuff

You may have a point being that Eric Serra used E-mu Proteus, too. As did cheiron in addition to their rolands, akai s3000 or 1000 with tons of cds. Although I must ask if you heard it. Akai also has a "ping" type sound called "Watertank," or something along those lines. Roland is also said to have had a few of those. One patch called "Echolot" in particular which I'm looking for a sound example of.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5h-gTYPGtdo Here's the Proteus "Infinite One." at around 1:15 Certainly not the exact same, but may be getting close around 60% at best, or 20% at worst.
http://www.synthmania.com/Roland%20Jupiter-8/Audio/Factory%20patches/66%20SOLAR%20WINDS.mp3 Here are some wind sounds, too. I'm also still looking for the pings.
Actually I searched a lot for the sonar ping sound but it's hard to find it...Akai has nother sonar ping called Oiltank
I gave up after I found someone having the sonar ping sample from akai.
Thank you!
U're welcome. The one I posted come from this
From Roland u have the following:

Wow, they used all that!
I doubt they used all of these...I just named these because u were looking for the sonar ping used by Cheiron.
But these sounds very much like the sonar ping on Cheiron

I see. Wow! Did that same CD also have the drums/loops they used? Or was it more than one of those? I also have the Downtown Beats CD which is pretty close.
Which cd are u talking about?
I have downtown beats one-shot samples. Not the cd stuff
akai sound library or even e-mu proteus.
