Max has developed a wonderful craft in terms of vocal production through the years, often using methods that are not popular in popular music like syllabe reverb -Adam Lambert's Ghost Town-, multiple vocal layering -Ariana Grande's Into You-, more complex vocal harmonies or nasal voices during the late 90s.
I can hear those resemblances on vocal production even in reggaeton.
