sounds like a Shellback (and Max Martin) production to me, I can hear their typical sounds. Let There Be Love / All That Matters style ...
btw the interview is terrible, I can't stand any of them 4 girls

Haha you just beat me to it! :)
But I'm loving this song! Really catchy happy summer anthem!
Feels like a bit of a throwaway song, as in, not a huge amount of effort gone into it. Yeah those girls were a little bit annoying haha!
I love it! so catchy! I can't stop listening to it.
It sounds very Icona pop in the beginning!
I love it , the full thing sounds much better.
How many artist will go the Icona Pop route now? I hope not too many. :o

Agree. It aint no "Everything I'm Not", that's for sure. Seems like songwriters/producers always do their best work in the beginning when they have something to prove and they're "hungry", like Max & Luke were when they first teamed up........styles change, yes, but the Veronicas songs are still killer records in 2013......they hold up......alot of this stuff now is disposable and nobody will listen to it in 6-7 years.
Production is terrible (No effort put in) however the lyrical content is brilliant and what a lovely melody. Savan is an incredible pop writer.

Sounds nice actually! But nothing new!

I forgot, is Savan more the lyrics guy or doing the melodies?
The verse is good!!
Im quite sad with max lately, the new bsb stuff was a big letdown for me :-( I was expecting somethin more

I think Savan does the lyrics.
This song has the 'drug-effect' for me, I can't get it out of my head!
This song is so catchy. I begin to really like it.

I think this song is a bit of a let down, same thing for "Slut like you" by Pink, but the bsb song makes me smile 'cause it's a classic Max Martin song written for the backstreet boys.
Same here, the new BSB song sounds so promising. Release you is quite good and the Pink song was one of the worst songs Max ever did, in my opinion.
Agreed, "Slut Like You" goes in the pile with "D.I.N.O.$.A.U.R." for me. It's like they'd come up with some cool lyrics but not much more.
Dinosaur is simply funny to me! :D It doesn't sound like Max Martin / Shellback at all but it seems like they just wanted to do a fun track :D
... whereas Slut Like You is a "good mood song" to me, with a pretty good production!
I don't like it so much. Nothing special to me...

yes, I think the same too!
But I love Release you.
I searched on the forum a topic about this and I didn't find it, I thought you guys knew this song!
The chorus is just amazing.
Written by Megan Mace, Elizabeth Mace, Savan Kotecha, Johan Schuster.
Produced by Shellback.
Not really sure about Max Martin involvement in the song, it doesn't appear on the song info from iTunes.

Problem is. When you are in the "New Songs" section and use the search function above you will only get results from the "New Songs" board.
If you want to search the whole forum you must use the search from the main site http://www.swedishsongs.de/smf/index.php
Annoying, I know.
Aaah, thanks for the hint!
I guess that's why we had 3 threads for a song once already.
The better way to search is to use the search in the main menu:
http://www.swedishsongs.de/smf/index.php?action=search
it's too bad this song didn't go anywhere

It's a smart move for them, though... maybe the label scrapped the project because Release You wasn't working.
That is ridiculous not to include Release You, oh well.
They can do a country version of release you. It would be original.

Just like Kelly Clarkson.
The country version of Mr Know It all is WAAAAAAAAY better than the those midi guitars...
Btw, I'm disappointed they obviously don't release a new Max song, but the EP is quite sweet.
New EP - probably no Max.
