Somehow missed this song until today... http://musicbloge.tumblr.com/post/51655646205 It's not a GREAT song, but it has something nice about it. (It's the one the Ke$ha maniacs are threatening to lynch Dr. Luke over unless "he" releases it, haha, like he controls RCA). Weird the way audio quality on Tumblr is always way better than YouTube :-)
PS the first melody of phrase/chords of chorus remind me of "Heaven" by Bryan Adams -- in a good way.
dr luke... drluke never changes
It's my favorite song on the album. It's very nostalgic.
it's a great song. love the frantic, scaling banjos/ukes in the last chorus. the song has this nostalgic anthemic, lush feeling. and with the pulsating stomping drum beat, the layered vocals in the chorus, like an audience chanting. a great album closer.
I've forgotten about this song, it's gorgeous.
I don't know what's next for her.
I'm pretty sure she'll be a successfull songwriter in a couple years from now.
So many fans were pushing for this and "Crazy Kids" to be released, and look how poorly "Crazy Kids" did. Luke's fault though I'm guessing. ;D Now they want a bonus track to be pushed as a single this late in the piece? All that aside, I like the track, it's really nice. It's the first track she wrote for the album after so many struggles trying to find the creativity to get started. It's about her ex who she talked about a lot in her documentary series.

I think "Crazy Kids" was an obvious single choice, but were it all messed up in my honest opinion was "C'mon", it just wasn't single material.
Second single should've been "Thinking of You" or "Last Goodbye". It should've been on the main version of the album.
Thinking of you is my fav song of the album.

"C'mon" wasn't single material? Which part of it?

The chorus didn't do it for me, if the chorus doesn't do it than what will?

Agree, but musically/sonically/melodically where does the chorus go wrong? I'm serious about this.....if I had written that chorus and it flopped, I'd give up songwriting, because I'd literally know I couldn't do anything better than that. It literally gives me chills, and goes straight to my emotional nerve center.....

Agreed, the combination of the chords and melody in that chorus really hit the spot for me too, it's my second favourite release of the year so far. For me it's so much stronger than "Die Young". Like you guys though I was really hanging out for a release of "Thinking Of You".
Supernatural was an obvious single and it never happened.
