Hey guys.. I'm new to the board but I'm not new to Max Martin & co, I've loved them for over 10 years now... anyway, you all read before that Martin and Per A. wrote Stanfour's song Do it All, right?
Well here's a link to their newest video, incase you haven't heard the full version yet. It's really great, and this band is really awesome and done a lot of songs in Sweden with Per A. This single will be out August 17th!

If this has been posted before, I'm sorry. I'm trying to catch up with you people :)
Hello LJ, wonderful you joined the forum!
Welcome, I am sure you will like it!
I haven't seen this video, thanks for posting and must check if I know it.
Per Aldeheim is also a long time collaborator, isn't he.
Great avatar and signature! :D
Thanks! :D

Thanks Linda, I will check it out!
Max Martin isn't good anymore.. sad.

Oh, please.
I listened to the song over and over this afternoon and I really like it, it's similar style to the Ashley Parker Angel songs.
So, this band is a Swedish band?
They seem to be German.
had a listen, it's suitably terrific.........
somewhat predictable sounding, max can do this type of song in his sleep!!
i like the chord changes in the chorus where they sing 'i'm not gonna bite', shear brilliance! oh and a great middle bit too!
WELL DONE MAX.

yeah, it's very Ashley! lol My first thought...
No they are from Germany.

Funny they are from Germany, I never heard of them.
I just read Max sings even in the background vocals!
Quote from: "turnaround"Funny they are from Germany, I never heard of them.
No, they're new :) They got signed with Universal late last year and have been working in Sweden on their first album since around spring 2006 I think. This year they got to open for John Fogerty on his German tour and then they played at nrj in the park in Germany too... but I'm still waiting for the release of the album!
And yupe... Max Martin is backing it. He does that on another of their songs too.

No I didn't :D

No he wasn't in it... It said Decibel Studios on a sign, that's where Max reorded the drums for Kelly Clarkson "Since you been gone" and lots of other stuff. Also where the drums for "Addictive Drums" (drum software co-developed by Max) were recorded. It's near "Slussen" in central Stockholm, only a few 100 m away from Maratone.
Hey a random cool thing... the live drummer Stanfour use, named Richard Evensand, was also the drummer in Its Alive : )
And I found a new video where they sing for like 10 seconds:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQLbCSV9SRk
hey, wow, that is cool. nice that the Its Alive guys still work together now and then.
Great random detail. Thanks for telling us! :D
I can't wait to know the album credits!!
"Do it all" entered the charts in Germany at #46
The new single will be "For all lovers"
Have no idea about the writers of it though.
ONLY at 46 place??????
I can't believe it!!!!!
Befour it's better than STANFOUR in germany??????
How is possible turnaround???
German people are strange ;)
This is the tracklist of the album "Wild Life"
If anyone has infos please let us know.
I am sure there is another Max track on it.
For All Lovers
Sorry
It's Not Over
Desperate
How Does It Feel
Wild Life
Do It All
Lonely Life
Jane
Crazy
World Of Silence
All You Need Is
I Will Be

LOL it would be really funny if it was the same song for all 3!! :D
Haha, that would be bizarre, but it's really interesting all 3 artists recorded an song with that name, and all worked with Max. ;D
haha, I hope it is the same I Will Be - that would be very funny!
Another version of this great song. That would be great (and kinda funny too). :D
Hi guys
Julian (Rainbow Child) filled me in re Stanfour:
NO MORE Max Martin except for "Do It All"!
Only one more CHEIRON song which is "Desperate" (A. Rethwisch / ANDREAS
CARLSSON / D. Child / K. Rethwisch).
Except for that only some Per Aldeheim:
"It's Not Over" (Sommerdahl / Aldeheim / Kotecha)
"Crazy" (Rethwisch / Rethwisch / Aldeheim)
"All You Need Is" (Rethwisch / Rethwisch / Aldeheim)
Thanks Jules
Should still be a good album!
Rebecca
Thanks, yes should be a good one, with Savan on board and Andreas.
Concerning the release date I am not sure anymore as it's listed on 30th of October and CDs always are released on Fridays.
It must be a digital release so far, it's available at I-tunes.
"I will be" isn't the Leona and Avril song sadly. ;)
I just got a message from Stanfour and they told me that Max has sung the background vocals (the choir) of the new single "For all lovers". ;D

Great that Max's vocals are there and Alexander Kronlund!
Yeah, I wrote them a myspace message.
Was surprised they answered!
This sounds like it could be a really great album. Can't wait to hear it now. Great to know Max's vocals appear on the album too!
I love the song BETTER OF ALONE. I think this album will be great!!!
Lucky you, any other interesting credits apart from the stuff we know?
happy to hear max martin voice on the background again,i havn't heard his voice on the background since his work with britney.
when the album is out?and what songs have his voice?
Very good question. It's definitely not on the album but who knows, maybe it will be a B-Side for "All the lovers" ???

I don't like this song. I prefer Do It All.

And I really love this video... it made the great song even greater :)
They're only on a radio tour right now, and smaller gigs more like, so far. But I hope they'll make a real tour next year! And their album is not officially out. But it can be bought on German Itunes, amazon.de and some other dl places... and in stores if you ask them to order it for you.
Oh.. here's a live video even though the sound quality is kinda bad: http://youtube.com/watch?v=F3XKV9mdOJo
rainbow has bought the CD. It had a weird release date, the online release was earlier.
It's very confusing.
Sadly they haven't been performing near me, I'd love to see them if they did a gig here.
But who knows what will happen. "For all the lovers" seems to get video airplay and it is played in commercials for a big Tv show here. They will definitley perform it at that show.
So an update on Stanfour... If you still haven't heard that many songs from them yet, you can now listen to them all on their official site :) So make sure to do that! I personally love them all ... But if I have to pick any, it's "Desperate" that has been a favorite but I also really love "Jane". www.stanfour.com

Turnaraound,I really loved their album from the snippets, but I guess they are flopping badly, they hardly m,ade it with Do It All,and no signs of suceess with For All Lovers. The album was released 2 months ago on the internet websites and has not been released physically which is a huge disaterous,no one in the world would do such a stupid idea.

The album haven't had an official release (though it has been released online), it'll happen next year. That's why it's not physically out in the stores because it hasn't been released like that yet. Well, I love Daughtry but I actually felt S4's version give the song more justice. Either way it's really cool he decided to use it :)
I've heard "For all the lovers" twice today on the same radio station.
It's so cool to hear Max' voice in the radio. 8)
Oh, my! I've missed everything! Are you sure Max is on background in "For All The Lovers"???
Just listened to all the songs and caught the impression that It's Not Over sounds more Max way than any other like Bon Jovi's It's My Life (by its title thought that guys decided to reply to Daughtry by their cover, hehe), but then read that it's really Savan's song :)
Loads of cool songs!
German artists started to raise their music cilture by getting loads of foreign authors and as particular swedish ones.
P.S. By the way recently opened other cool german bands - Cinema Bizarre and Monrose, love them.
P.P.S. I Will Be - is not a third version, what a disappointment :) But it's just a grrrrreat song!!! Have associations with BSB's Incomplete, Lonely Life too :)
It's great you are back Out, where have you been :o
Yes, in Germany there are hardly any good writers, all good songs for our artists source from outside and of course mostly Sweden.
Great you like Monrose and Cinema Bizarre.
"For all lovers" reminds me also of some songs, it's not very new, but still a solid song.
"Do it all" is stronger in my opinion but somehow it wasn't meant to be a hit.
Work, my friend, I had a lot of work, and wanna forget about it at all, as we have 2 weeks Christmas vacation in Russia since Sunday :) Are you from Germany?
You know it makes me so happy here's always loads of activity and people who remember and supports Max Martin activity, it warms my soul :)
Oh I hope things are more relaxed for you now! Glad to have you here!
Yes, I'm from Germany :)
You're from Russia, fab, I think you're the first member from Russia!
I'm happy people like this board, it's fun to talk about music and writers hardly anyone I know cares about it. :)
Oh, cool, can I ask you, though it's a little offtop, did Monrose' "What You Don't Know" became popular in Germany? It's my their favorite song after Hot Summer, it's written by Vacuum by the way. Video is amazing as well.

So pity girls didn't win last year Eurovision national final, they could be much higher than Roger :(
Yeah Roger was pretty poor.
Yes, "What you don't know" is really succesful, it entered at #6 in the charts.
For a third single really good! I was not aware Vacuum wrote it, I just knew Billy Mann from the credits.
Great I found another Melodifestivalen and Eurovision fan. :D
I open a Monrose thread! :)
Thanks for the info, turnaround :)
Yeah, I'm a big fan of Melodifestivalen and swedish music at all, trying not to miss any news about Eurovision as well, glad I'm not the one ;)

i don't think Germany hate pop \rock style, i don't know what songs are on the top German chart now , but if they are American songs its sad cuz European music is so much better than american music, europeans should know that their music is better than america, and european music deserve to be on the top of the chart in the european countries.
Sadly in Germany you either have to sing German or to be American or from a Casting show (though this isn't the same as it has)
Here are the Top 100, if you're interested.
