Gwen Stefani - Bouquet (Album)

Gwen Stefani's new album has been out for two weeks, there's a lot of Cirkut-written songs including:
Somebody Else's, Bouquet, Pretty, Empty Base, Late to Bloom, Swallow My Tears.

It also includes some songs by Jack & Coke (Purple Irises and Marigolds)

The album is way too boring overall, It looks like all the production has been scrapped since Scott Hendricks is listed as the production of the whole album, maybe it was originally meant to be pop but at the last minute they decided to go with a country sound? Awful decision, now I wonder how the original demos sounded like.

I agree. Overall it's boring but I really loved Swallow My Tears and Somebody Else's. I bet they were thinking the country crowd would welcome Gwen in. Those two tracks were sort of my Trojan Horse into country. I've been listening to it a lot more now. Stuff like Am I Okay? by Megan Moroney, or for lesser known, Fishin by Alissa Hale.

What are your guys favorite Cirkut songs post-Dr. Luke? These are the standout tracks for me:

- APT by Rose
- Disease by Lady Gaga
- WONDER by Katy Perry
- Seven by Jung Kook
- Get In Loser by Leah Kate
- IT girl by JADE
- Vulgar by Sam Smith, Madonna
- Castle in the Sky by Kim Petras
- Bite Me by ENHYPEN
- Press It by bludnymph

This is tea about Ava Max and Cirkut, involves Madison Love:

The music on Don't Click Play was also born from heartbreak. For the first time in her career, Max cut ties with Cirkut, her former boyfriend and longtime producer, and Madison Love, her ex-co-writer and former friend. (Both were staples across Heaven & Hell and Diamonds & Dancefloors.) While Max doesn't address it directly, fans have inferred that her single "Spot a Fake" — which was meant to be the lead single off this album, but didn't make the cut — is inspired by Love and Cirkut beginning to date after Max and the producer's breakup.

Plus, I think this year Henry will get a nomination for Producer of the Year (well deserved) and some other nominations for Gaga's Abracadabra.

The album is clearly a downgrade from her previous work, still there's some highlights like Fight For Me (Co-written by Ryan Tedder and Lindgren) which seems like a very obvious rip-off of Tate McRae; Sucks To Be My Ex is nice too. The style is there, just less punchy.

Isn't it a little bit funny how she found "a new team" consisting of mostly people that are very closely related to Cirkut in different ways? It's not really new, she just talks shit and hangs with all his friends.

Her (not really) new team is: David Stewart, Johnny Goldstein, Jason Evigan, Ryan Tedder, Lindgren. And then Cirkut's frequent collaborators inverness and Pink Slip
