This is such a nice song, I always love Darin, a great ballad.

I love this song too, but perhaps it's a little too bubblegum

I didn't know this song before, it's great, but I suppose I'm just not familiar with it enough.

Feelgoodlies: NSync - It's Gonna Be Me - 9.9
Classic uptempo Cheiron! I love it, I love the "Guess What.."

Another great song, so catchy, love it, is this song the start of girl pop/rock for Max?

Raul, everyone, I'm going on holiday to USA tomorrow for 2 weeks so I won't be able to participate in the Cheiron contest, but please carry on without me and I'll join back in 2 weeks.
Maybe you guys are interested, I'll be in LA when the ASCAP conference is on (open to all!), something I've always wanted to go to, and so I booked up for it and made a holiday of it and will just pop along to listen to a few of the songwriters speak, Dr Luke will be there speaking, so I'll let you guys know if he mentions Max! It should be exciting!

a good song but not my type...

not Max's best work but this one is very rare because it's pure pop from him

I love the chorus but hate the intro ...and Linda's voice doesn't fit these type of songs

-Nshinnosuke: Anorah - Story of My Own - 8.5, this song is just good, I actually thought it's a copy and paste of Max and Luke songs, it has the same structure!


-Alex Martin: Lambretta - Bimbo - 8, I have this song since a long time, I like it, but I thought it is too ROCKISH for my taste

-Poptasticuk: Ashley Parker Angel - I'm Better - 9.5, I love this song, this is the only good song on his horrible album, I really liked it, too bad it was given to him, cause his label didn't really promote him, this should've been a single!

Finally here are my votes:


Raul: Darin - Walk The Distance - 7
It is a pretty good song but not one I'll remember or feel like listening very often. The thing I like the most is the melody of the chorus, it's a bit melancholic.


Sabine: Amy Diamond - Stay My Baby
I think this song is incredibly catchy. It is very childish yeah but I love it. Amy has a great voice for being so young.


Nshinnosuke: Anorah - Story of My Own - 8
I'm not such a fan of the song. Maybe it's because it's my first lsten. It's the kind of songs we like but it's not as strong and forgetable. Oh well, after all, 8 is still a good mark!


Feelgoodlies: NSync - It's Gonna Be Me - 9.3
A great song, the classic old Cheiron kind we all fell in love with. I think it misses a little smth though, I like better I'll never stop or I want you back.


Alex: Lambretta - Bimbo - 9
Great pick Alex! I really love this song, the chorus is incredible, the bridge is surprising by its sweetness and I love the video. Overall this song is awesome. Once again I didn't give more cause it's still under the level of my pop darling songs.

The song may have that Max/Luke beat and structure but TBH I didn't really like it. It kind of lacks appeal to me + I really don't like the singer. For me the song is between "sufficient" (© Alex )  and pretty good.

Even if it's not our typical pop, I enjoy very much the old school Cheiron sound that Denniz made. This song reminds me of the early/mid 90's, a time when the music was great and it makes me nostalgic. This song on the dancefloor is  .

One of my favourite Darin songs. I prefer it to the Robyn version and that says a lot because Robyn is one of my all time favourite singers.

Sabine: Amy Diamond - Stay My Baby - 10
I love Amy Diamond and this is my absolute favourite of her songs. Another great choice!

Nshinnosuke: Anorah - Story of My Own - 6.5
I don't really mind either way about this song. It isn't as good as a lot of similar songs released recently.


Feelgoodlies: NSync - It's Gonna Be Me - 9
I always thought *N Sync weren't as good as BSBs, and I still love the BSBs most as they have more personal meaning for me, but with this song *N Sync started to catch up.

Alex: Lambretta - Bimbo - 9.5
Definitely one of my top favourite Max Martin rock songs. I loved this when it came out and it was interesting to see Max go more and more in this musical direction as the years went on. I love the lyrics, and I love Linda Sundblad too.

I've never really got the Dr Alban thing, but maybe it's because he wasn't a big success in the UK so I don't have the same nostalgia as those of you from countries where his songs did well.
